Re: Mandatory checks for those aircrafts not flying
Manel I think you are are misinterpreting my meaning. I merely point out that a VA may have a lot of aircraft and not so many pilots, therefore utilization of airframes is rather low, compared to real life. As to paying for aircraft, yes thanks we do and we pay maintenance on those that get utilized...

Re: Insignia and Pilot-Rankings
I was hoping one of the admins would come up with the definitive answer.
From memory the first levels are 15, 30 and 60 flights. That takes you up to captain .. I don't know what the requirements are after that.
Cheers

Re: Mandatory checks for those aircrafts not flying
I think this is a bad idea. In VAs we procure and station aircraft around our hubs to keep them available as required by our pilots. If you have several hubs and many types of aircraft, you therefore need to hold a lot of aircraft (many more than a real airline would utilize for the same coverage). ...

Re: Statistics by Country?
Number of flights performed is under 'Ratings' Regards John Thanks for your reply. Yes you can see the number of flights in the table and I assume that the overall rating is the number of flights factored by the rating of the pilots during those flights (or is it the average rating??) however... Wh...

Re: Statistics by Country?
Personally I would like to see some method by which a new pilot could view the country a VA was based in when deciding which VA to join. I know the information is on the VA's overview page but it would be good if a facility existed somewhere to enable people to search for this information. At least ...

Re: Flight cheat
Nope, I believe AFCAD doesn't display refuelling points at all.vaccaro wrote:Maybe with AFCAD you can see those fuel thingies
If there is a way of getting AFCAD to display refuelling boxes I'd love to know it.

Re: Flight cheat
I don't know of a way Brian, however I know very little about sceneries. I assume that exclude bgls would eliminate refuel spots but I really don't know. If there is a way to see these refuel spots that have been hidden by modified scenery I would love to know also.

Re: Restrict Flightplans by Fleet
I think that this splitting of the flight plans into separate fleets is a great idea. In addition to the idea that only aircraft from a specific fleet can fly that fleet's flightplans, the actual administration of flightplans would be greatly eased. In our VA's situation we have three fleets: normal...

Re: Flight cheat
I have found that the refuelling station can be "invisible" at times - with some modified scenery (afcad mods usually) - the refuelling station is still there even though it doesn't show up visually or on FSNav map.

Re: Can't find Flight Report error
Yes, although the flight records can still be viewed from a VA integration page, the FSAirlines website seems to have a problem today.

Re: Support or Forum for flight review?
Ah, I didn't make it clear that I was just asking for information as to what is the preferred way to do it. I was not complaining or remarking about response time - which actually was commendably quick - just asking which is the way to sort out things in future. Sorry if you thought I was having a "...

Support or Forum for flight review?
I sent an email to support asking for a flight to be reviewed, it being flagged up because of ending flight on an "invisible" refuelling spot. The flight in question being: http://www.fsairlines.net/index.php5?status=report&id=202142&status2=logged&va=3987&p=7743 My question is: Is emailing support ...

Re: Messages
As I said in my post, I am referring to the FSAirlines message system. I am not referring to the Forum messages control panel but to the message page you can access on FSAirlines itself.Stan wrote:If you click on messages above you will see you already have an "outbox"

Messages
Is it possible to alter the FSAirlines "Messages" system to allow one to view one's sent messages?
At the moment all one has is the equivalent of an "Inbox", it would be useful to also have an "Outbox" and to be able to tell from that if a message has been read by the recipient.
Cheers

Re: Insignia and Pilot-Rankings
Do you mean the pilot rating ... like captain, senior captain etc?
I believe it is based on number of flights but I cannot remember what each level is.
The VA Rank is a different thing, it is allocated by the CEO of the VA for different jobs / positions within the VA.
