Re: Setting winds in free FLIGHT YAY or NAY
I think this is not a sensible suggestion. Not everyone flies using real-world weather and people should be free to chose their own environment. Personally I use ActiveSky in FS9 and FSX's own weather gen in that. The real-world weather that FS downloads always seems to give me clear skies and calm ...

Re: New Server Test - Volunteers needed
Well that was fun. The client and server seemed to work with no issues at my end. However my brain must have gone the way of the old server, I could have sworn I had booked to arrive at ENFL but I got the "wrong airport" hit - I had obviously booked to ENBL so my brain fade was the only problem in 2...

Confirmation of Kicking a Pilot
I have just been doing a cull of the "dead wood" from our VA's roster and was really surprised that when I clicked " Kick Pilot " that it was applied immediately, with no confirmation screen. This could (but thankfully didn't) produce some rather unfortunate errors as, let's face it, it would be rat...

Re: Watching Paint Dry
There is already an automatic deletion system in place, if you have been inactive for 90 days, your profile is deleted and if you are the only person in your VA, your VA goes with it. Unfortunately, it looks like the server's base date keeps being reset (at the moment the base "last active" date is...

Re: Watching Paint Dry
However many pilots are registered, that just sits in the database, surely the load on the server is just data processing and information throughput and so should only be a factor of the number of users actually connected at the time and performing actions which require calculation / table lookups /...

Re: Watching Paint Dry
However, the server is also dealing with a higher load than it used to so that is another reason. What is causing the higher load? It looks like the average number of hours flown overall per month is about the same for the past three months (I can't see how to work out the number of flights overall...

Re: Stuck Booking to clear Please
You are correct there was nothing wrong with the flight.
The problem is that flight number WF304 on our flightplan pages still shows WF304 as being booked - it is stuck and cannot be booked, amended or anything else.
I would appreciate it if one of the admins could clear it for us.
Thanks
Malcolm

Stuck Booking to clear Please
Hi .. could someone please look at what appears to be a "stuck" booking on Virtual Widerøe please. It is flight number WF304 from EKCH to ENTO which I booked and completed earlier today. - flight report at http://www.fsairlines.net/index.php5?status=report&id=340570&status2=logged&va=3987&p=7743 Tha...

Watching Paint Dry
Recently I have been experiencing really lengthy delays in FSAirlines web pages loading and with pages loading in the client.
Is there a problem at the server or is it just a traffic issue? If at the server, is there any indication if and when matters might improve?
Cheers

Re: No cargo loads on DH8C flights?
So the baggage comes to 1130kg? Fair enough, if that is realistic then no problems. Thanks for the info.CAPFlyer wrote:You are not getting cargo because the baggage is taking up all of the available space.
