Sending a message to all pilots in the airline
Is there a way to send a message to all the pilots in my airline at once? I noticed in the message section an option called "members with rank", but since it seems to list all the pilots in FSAirlines beneath these options, I wasn't sure if that meant "members with rank .... in all of FSAirlines" Th...

Re: Changing my airline name
Actually, It's my brother. I got him hooked on FS too.
Now my dad is getting interested. His name is Daniel also so I"m not sure what we are going to do if that happens. Maybe we can come up with some sort of alias.

Re: Changing my airline name
My current airline is Atlanta Airlines. The name I want to change to is Sunbird Airlines. I found out about the airline when I was speaking to a friend of mine who use to fly for them before they went under. I did a Google search and saw (as far as I can tell) that they haven't flown since the 80's....

Changing my airline name
I tried to change the name of my airline but it gave me a message saying that a real airline exists with that name. My first question is that the airline has been out of business since the 80's and I can't find a current airline with that name. Can I still use it? My second question is did the reque...

Re: Problems accessing the site and forums
Thanks for the reply. At least I know it's not my connection.
Any idea why it's happening? Updates perhaps?

Problems accessing the site and forums
Hi. I've been having trouble accessing FSAirlines.net the last few days. I've been getting an error that says something about "mysql". Sorry, I don't have a more specific error message. Has anyone else been having this trouble or is it just me? If it's me, can anyone suggest a way to solve it? Thank...

Re: Saving Flights
Here's the problem - if you save a flight and reload it, FS doesn't get everything perfect. There are a lot of planes where if you save the flight and pick it back up, there are a lot of variables that aren't saved. This can affect the client. If you want to do a long haul flight and don't have tim...

Re: Saving Flights
Even if pausing worked overnight, it would still be tough on me. I use the computer for work as well and I don't think i'd be able to leave FS running all day and night. What if I left the FSAirlines client running all day and night? If I shut down FS and then restart the same flight where it left o...

Re: Saving Flights
Yes, they do. They don't mind the leaving as much as logging back on in the middle of traffic as you might imagine. So you should log off and on in the middle of your flight where there is less traffic. When returning to a saved flight I will file the original flight plan and then put "resuming prev...

Saving Flights
I would like to suggest a new feature.
For those of us who don't have a lot of time to fly and can't use time compression (flying on VATSIM for example), I would like to see a "save flight" feature. That way we can do long hauls over a period of time.
Thanks.
Dan
