Re: An idea for cargo

I'm hoping coding and a cargo database won't cost too much bandwidth, but seems interesting.

This will probably only affect cargo aircraft since passenger aircrafts have baggage, and that's about it.

Re: profit value

Not really a bug or problem... And I always thought net profit was more important than gross profit. After all, who needs the past, it's the present that matters.

Re: Service at Airports

The idea's been shot down mostly due to fears of extra airport costs (landing fees, gate rental costs, ground crew costs, other unnessecary fees, etc.)

To convert lbs to kg, multiply by 0.4536 to get kg.

Sounds reasonable, considering most people who fly at 16x fly A388's for 8000nm...

Re: Here's a controversial idea regards simrate/stats

1/16 of profit seems like a huge slash, expecially considering the entire flight wasn't in 16x. Honestly a 1/4 of the profit is enough to balance it out between 1x and 16x. Another thing is annoying me. The way hours are counted does not take TC into consideration. Considering hours does not affect ...

I've never had problems with shutting down engines, but whatever, follow the best option to deal with the current situation.

Re: Here's a controversial idea regards simrate/stats

No need to raise voices guys.

We all have differing views on this issue, and getting on other airlines' cases will not bring us closer to a solution (if a solution is ever reached  )

Re: Here's a controversial idea regards simrate/stats

John, decreasing the revenue for higher sim rate flights is in my opinion the best option available. However, even 16x flights took time, so something must be given. Using the equation sqrt (-x+17) * 25 - 10, you can get the percentages for the different sim rates. The only exception would be 1x, wh...

To add, if the 737-200 model and the 737-800 model are any bit accurate, they are not at all similar aircrafts.

Re: Intercontinental Global Alliance

Anyone want to help out with the Wiki project? Not just for the IGA page, located at http://wiki.fsairlines.net/index.php/IGA, but for everything else. This wiki will make a lot of new pilots very happy and make their first flight much easier. IGA members shouldn't just help each other out, we shoul...

Re: Design Wiki Logos!

It's a lot of effort you're putting into this. Hopefully these guides will help out the lost new pilot who has never used the FSAirlines system. It's fairly complicated in my opinion on a first user, so a getting started guide will be very helpful. Giving every user the chance to say something about...

Re: client registered the same airport for departure and arrival

1: Do never pause the sim when flying with the FSAirlines cleint, it will pick it up as cheat (as if you were using slew) Also be sure to have turned OFF 'Pause on task switch' in the defauls FSX settings (if you are using FSX that is  ) 2: Dont esc and look at flight analyse during flight...

Re: Fuel still being lost

I always turn off my engines at the end of the flight. Part of the flight is to set brakes, turn off engines, open doors, and get the jetway so passengers can exit the aircraft. I've never had problems with turning engines off and having a client error :?
