Re: Diverted landing

Sam is correct, if you divert you get no revenue, but once you get to your final destination you get the same revenue you would have received if you flew direct to the destination. So just finish the flight and everything will be well.

Re: Old Warbirds for the fleet

For your airshows private pilots can 'rent' any aircraft in the database, including military aircraft normally not allowed.

Request for Testing

Hi Flyers. I have been doing some work on bringing in some newer technology in our system and using it I have re-written much of the logic involved with logging into the website. I have put this up on https://beta.fsairlines.net so you can try to log in and try it out. If all goes well you won't not...

Re: Old Warbirds for the fleet

I know there are two seat Mustangs and Spitfires out there so I added both of them to the database as commercial. Edit: I also added the TP-40N (twin seat P-40N), I did not see any evidence of a twin seat F4U, except one prototype the Navy was not interested in so it was probably scraped or converte...

Re: Old Warbirds for the fleet

They should have at least a modified jump seat like the 2 seater P51 that gives expensive rides on the air show circuit. A two seat trainer, that is being used by private companies would certainly be within the current rules. I was looking over the list of 'private' aircraft and noticed both the B-...

Re: Old Warbirds for the fleet

Hey Bryan, thanks for posting this. Up to the point we have not allowed single seat fighters for airlines. It was not really appropriate since they carry no passengers or cargo and no airline ever did. The were allowed for private pilots to buy since there fun and many were used that way. But if the...

Re: MacOS and X Plane 11

well not completely dead but not very good either, it will require a significant block of time to get X-plane for the mac working, I will need a new approach on getting it built and right now I have many other projects going. But perhaps on on an upcoming cold winter weekend I can dig into it an fin...

Re: Add route

Speaking of flight routes, what does the flight limit do? Will it prevent duplicate flight routes if set to 1 or will it simply delete the route after 1 flight? Curious I have never used it, always set at "no limit" Basically it limits the number of times the route can be used before its automatica...

They would have to give you the 'Manage Flights' permission in your rank.

Re: some thought about more realistic

Not actual dates yet, I was thinking about doing a loan and bankruptcy system first, but these fees might be easier. In any case all these new features we have discussed will probably have to come one at a time.

Re: Change Cargo

We could always allow it when booking the flight or even a screen where after booking where the cargo and passengers can be limited. As I was thinking about this another idea occurred to me, when a pilot cancels a flight they can be charged a fee to compensate the passengers whose flight was cancell...

Seating capacity

I keep getting requests from members to revise the seating capacities for aircraft because airlines keep finding creative ways to cram more and more people into there cabins by decreasing the space between seats, a trend I look at with some distaste. I am beginning to think that when we define the m...

Re: some thought about more realistic

Hey Scott, I like the mothball idea with an A-Check to unlock. Not sure we need all the time delays, as the cost of the A-Check and maybe 2-5 days to un-mothball it will be a pretty good deterrent to abusing it. Currently the storage airports are: EGBP - Cotswold Airport, Kemble, England FAUP - Pier...
