Re: Airline Admin Announcements
We have just scrapped the following aircraft due to thenm taking up hanger space. Qty 1 DH8D Qty 3 BN2P Qty 3 DHC6 With an airline value of over v$ 5.5 Billion, I'm sure that should we attract pilots who wish to fly these types again, we can purchase again. Routes are still in place but currently be...

Re: delete pilots posts in Blackboard
agreed, it would be a useful feature, or perhaps making blackboard annoncements automatically disappear after a set time period, of perhaps 14 days

Re: Blackbox content
I would include myself on that list at long flights, X1 but add real weather to the list and things become even more unpredictable

Re: FSAIRLINES Problem
Hiya, I appreciate your frustration, but being at a distance from the issue, gives a different perspective. I remember doing long haul flights too, with earlier versions af the client, and how frustrating it was when you overspeed during the approach due to icing and/or blustery winds. I remember in...

Re: setting up icing..
Thanks for that... I've found and downloaded the AirEd file and also the AAMv2.2 software which will both open and edit .air files. I've also located a record reference for .air file records. Having gone to various forums, It appears that there are potential changes required for the aircraft config ...

Re: FSAIRLINES Problem
I've not experienced any problems with FS9, FSUIPC and the client at all. I don't suppose it might be an issue with your ISP or your internet connection?

Ice Gauge and icing
There's a nice little ice gauge and icing effects addition available (has been for some time) by Charles (Dutch) Owen and is downloadable free from the AVSIM file library called icev10.zip. Basically you get a new gauge and icing simulator that you add to the aircrafts gauges file, but it is all exp...

setting up icing..
I've found a neat little ice warning gauge that I can add to my aircraft panels, and it talks about checking/setting some stuff in the .air file for the individual aircraft types, to ensure that icing/anti icing is available. I'd like to know how to find/open the .air file to check/change as require...

Re: Flight booking
Am I understanding that this pilot is in two VA's, or has he just recently joined yours. If the first, apart from not being allowed within the FSAirlines environment, if he has one flight booked using the allocated pilot number, he won't be able to book a second flight. If the second case, does he h...

Re: Fuelling problem with QualityWings RJ's
Hiya David :) I found this in the FAQ in the user manual for QW RJ The wing tank fuel quantity on the Primary Engine Display doesn’t match what I loaded. The fuel quantity indication shows the fuel quantity in the wings minus the fuel quantity in the engine feed tanks. The fuel quantity of the engin...

Re: Fuelling problem with QualityWings RJ's
I've noticed similar symptoms, but in a different fashion... I noted the the reported fuel load in the QW RJ1H on the 2D MIP under read what was in the tanks by what I had put in the FMC as my reserve fuel, it was as if the reserve wasn't shown on the MIP. I think this is discussed in a roundabout w...
