Re: Can't log in using new client

I think you will find that no-one will be able to log into FlyNET client until the hacker activity is able to be stopped. Best that no-one be allowed in until things get sorted. Regards John Things are getting worse. I even could not leave any message in another board. Wonder if this one will be sa...

Re: Active hacker(s)?

I hope we have plugged the hole the hacker found. All pilots are going to need to download and re-install the client software again, sorry for the inconvenience. Will it be reported to the police? I really hope so... If he was a friendly hacker he should have reported it to the staff without writin...

The hacker's new message appeared again.
Hackers disappear in prison for many years even nothing has been damaged. This is purely a police matter.
I hope his/het identity will be found very soon.

Upon my login I encountered a new news bulletin: Something :) ...You know what's funny...I know that you won't change password because if you do so, your FlyNET Client won't work :) hehehe btw. I can send you my address if you want to sue me...I'm sure that it will make a lot of people laugh out lou...

Re: Unexplained crashes - the accident investigation thread

Well, I understood there will be no working at Flynet.exe anymore, but finally I could intercept an error message. Booked a flight and using FS9 for exactly 123 minutes the menu of Fs9 disappeared and both programs as usual crashed with this message: On top of the window "Flynet.exe" Inside the win...

Re: Crashes and speeds

You're misunderstanding your taxi speed then. FlyNET uses the ground speed, not what the top of the screen shows when you hit "Shift-Z" or look at your airspeed indicator. When you open your GPS and look at the lower left corner, that is the speed FlyNET uses for your taxi speed. That will always b...

Re: Flight gone

That should not be, are you sure you signed in using the FlyNET Client and the same profile as you used to book the flight? Hi Joe, I discovered it wasn't a typo at all: using the preview option of this message I see I indeed wrote http : / / flynet.turksim.org/ (spaces added on purpose!!!) and it ...

Re: Slow server

Well that is a problem with booking a flight at the wrong site. FSAirlines.net and flynet.turksim.org are two different sites and are not connected. You booked a flight on FSAirlines, not FlyNET. That will not affect your personal account since that account on FSAirlines will be deleted and replace...

Flight gone

This morning I booked a flight from LPPT to LPPR (Lisbon to Porto) I logged in and saw a nice red button so correctly confirmed. This evening I installed everything, started the client and got a message "No booked flight found!!!" So I ahd to cancel the flight Flight canecelled.jpg and rebooked the ...

Re: Slow server

I was signed on at that time to the FlyNET server and had not problems with connection numbers. If it's congestion, it's on your end of the connection (i.e. the route between you and the FlyNET Server, not the server itself). You're right, you're on during a peak time, but if I can access the serve...

Re: Slow server

I think it's on your end. I'm having no difficulty accessing the site. I wrote it somewhere before: It is (almost) always the user's end to blame. But no again: the server is slow because of the number of users: "Couldn't connect to database server: Too many connections" Sometimes I receive this me...

Re: FSAirlines v1.0a - Known Problems

Also downloaded this Alpha version. I could not proceed using it as the field for username is much to short. My username is "ruudopdeweegh" and it was not possible to write more than "ruudopdewee" Ruud, Did you get an answer back to your problem? I too have the same issue, the 1.0 client works even...

Slow server

Is there something wrong with the server perhaps? Normally the server is slow (10 sec to call the site, another 10 sec to login) but today it is a real disaster. Today it took 40 sec to load the site and 20 seconds to login. Every time I click for another page is as slow as a snail.... My goodness.....
