Re: Relinquishing Type Certificate
Hi Sam, My thinking on that was that pilots want to advance their careers by moving to bigger aircraft, if someone was flying 767's and now they are flying King Airs, they probably would not be happy, especially if they lost there certificate as a result. I understand that sometimes pilots might cho...

Re: In Flight Failures
Ok, here is an idea. If any of the following events happening on a flight, the aircraft will enter a "needs maintenance" status and require some type of service before it can be moved (i.e. flown or transferred) "Crashed" "Engine Failure" "Gear Failure" "Flaps Failure" "Very Hard Landing" "Serious G...

Re: In Flight Failures
With all the recent issues with birds, maybe throw in a totally random (nothing to do with maintenance status) "bird strike engine failure".... LOL that will wake up a sleepy pilot in the sim. Might be cool, but given how many of our pilots leave the cockpit unattended on long flights, (note the au...

In Flight Failures
Hi Flyers. As I continue to think through all the things that will need to be updated to get automated pilots working, it does at times cause me to rethink some of the features we have in the platform, and one of those I have been thinking about is in flight failures. Currently, based on your aircra...

Re: Beta Client 2.6
Stable build is now released.
Changes from b7:
- I extended the auto submit time from 5 minutes to 15 minutes
- If your flight recorded a crash it should not also record a hard landing.

Re: Don't Auto-Submit upon a crash.
I was looking into this today, unfortunately the options window is really tight right now and I don't think I can fit in another option without some major revisions. But I am going to increase the auto-submit delay to 15 minutes, which should be more than enough time for someone to abort the flight....

Re: Administrative account question
Yes, if you switch your platinum account to a gold then with four golds you should be able to accept 20 pilots five for each gold account. It was more complicated 4 each gold until you had five accounts then it was 5 after that, but I decided to simply and changed to be simpler. To change your accou...

Re: Network World play
Couple issues being suggested. First of all let's correct the world map plan to see current flights on personal map not google map, a world map property of fsairlines. Are you suggesting we write our own map system rather than use googles? Thats a lot of work, especially getting all the satellite da...

Re: Don't Auto-Submit upon a crash.
Thanks for posting this Adam, The auto submit, after significant delay, started because of a number of times when pilots forgot to submit there flights in the client and then wanted me to re-create it after. But as I was coding it, I did realize that it would have the effect of when pilots leave the...

Airline name rule - Government agencies
I am sure you all are familar with our airline name rule, if not look at this. https://forum.fsairlines.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9684 Someone recently asked for " United States Transportation Command ", while this is not a commercial airline, it is a government agency involved in transporting stuff f...

Re: Add planes : Van's RV10 and Van's RV14
I see you submitted the RV-14, when you put in deliver airport you put in KSQL LFRT YSEN NZCH KJQF EKRK According to there website there factory is at Aurora State Airport (KUAO) This is an interesting point as for kit aircraft where is the factory? The companies factory where they do 50% of the bui...
