It could go both ways.

On one had it is real world to ground them

On the other there are plenty of aircraft in our system that are prohibited these days (Concorde, old AC without hush kits etc)

The client knows your aircraft weight and the type and number of engines. Now there is variation within a type for empty and max weight so the client allows range, but if your using two aircraft of similar size and configuration you may fool the client, but you may not get accurate results.

We have never really done that. We have always said a pilot can only work for one airline, would most airlines allow a pilot do work for other airlines and do side jobs at the same time? So if your a solo pilot, why not create your own solo airline to do your work.

The europeans have grounded the 737 max and so have many other countries, should we ground it until they its been cleared to fly again?

The system should not allow you to add an aircraft that is too large to the queue in the first place. There could be several reasons why 'by design' an aircraft's maintenance is cancelled. At the time maintenance is supposed to start, the VA or fleet does not have the funds, The VA owning the center...

I found a bug in the discounting logic which is now fixed. I have adjusted the rates for aircraft where work had not been started but for those where the work was already started or even finished I deleted the transactions, so 11 more aircraft just got there maintenance for free.
