Re: Administrative account question
FYI - Gold accounts do not have full access to all features the same as Platinums do.

Re: Beta Client 2.6
2.6.7 fixed one issue the stable client has always had too: go around after touchdown, used to always get a high speed taxi penalty. Just did one in a 737-800 and it changed the landing rate from the first touch/go around to the full stop one too. Perfect.

Re: Beta Client 2.6
IMPORTANT NOTE ON CLIENT INSTALLS: I was having fueling issues with 2.6.7 so I uninstalled everything involving the FSA client then restarted, then installed the latest beta, restarted, THEN started the sim and client as usual. I was getting lazy and just installing new clients over old ones. 2.6.7 ...

Re: Beta Client 2.6
More funkiness going on with this beta client. I file 3MI2-52I in FSX Carenado Piper Saratoga. I land and get wrong airport, client thinks I landed over at KMBS (19 nm away). The sim lat/long matches where I should be: 52I. It also closely matches FSA's lat/long for 52I (I am at my hangar, not at th...

Re: Beta Client 2.6
Beta 6 has some funky weight thing going on - example with FSX Steam Carenado Piper Saratoga it says my airplane doesn't match the FSA Z fuel weight yet the payload and dry is the same and the gross weights match. ???

Re: Forum Registration FYI
Makes sense on the pilot roster - you have enough work as it is. I was just curious.

Re: Forum Registration FYI
This maybe a good time at year end to clean out the pilot roster too? For the number of registered pilots, we sure don't have many flying.
147 flights booked + 62 flying = 209 / 15,957 = 1.31%.
How many years can one sit dormant on the platform without being booted?

Re: Happy Pilots
It took awhile to figure out where my "home base" field was. Edit Profile. I am apparantly unhappy cause I was based in Boise and flying out of Las Vegas. LOL

Re: Schedules
One thing to note about setting schedules and adjusting dep/arv times: the "enroute time" listed in FSA when adding a leg appears to be "standard hours direct GPS". So if you are flying the high altitude airways you will have to add additional flight time to your schedule as you won't be going direc...

Re: Schedules
Cool beans. This will take a lot of the "where do I fly next" issues away from bored pilots when VA's set up schedules to follow.

Re: Schedules
Multiple or parallel schedules with different arrival/departure times would solve the multiple pilot issue too, but lots of route making/paperwork. But once we start getting this detailed, paperwork is an unfortunate byproduct of playing to fine details. Tis what it is. Don't want to do the work, th...

Re: Schedules
More random thoughts: Book Flight or Accept Schedule which then books the first leg of whatever schedule is accepted. Then when that happens, the remaining flight legs within that schedule are blocked out until the pilot in question flies them or "quits schedule". But I'm still thinking new schedule...
