Re: Landing Light penalty on MD80 by Leonardo
Wise words vaccaro  The other alternative is to ensure your pressure is correctly set to your departure airfield (QNH or QFE will do). That way.. what you see on your alt will reflect the true AGL figure :) Does the MD80 have a radalt?? It should be ok to fly by that if it has one  ATB D...

Re: Why is my "Gross profit" is multiplied by 50 ?
Hi amb.. THAT I don't know. As far as I'm aware, all pilots for a particular VA have the same multiplyer and all have the same pay. I'll have a look at NEWFly but this may be one for the database/program boys  EDIT.. amb.. looking at your airline and the flights done.. all those made recently ...

Re: Why is my "Gross profit" is multiplied by 50 ?
Hi amb :) A clue to your VA would be a help but in the absence of that.. your multiplyer depends on how much the VA is worth. High initial multiplyers were put in place to get the ball rolling if you see what I mean and these have been drastically reduced in the FSA client. Every other pilot in the ...

Just tried the comment field for the first time since the release version and no problems. Typed comment, hit End Flight and the client was fine

Re: New client version available v1.03
Hi Chris :D I don't have any addon 'FS Time' software progs running as I've found the UK still gets hit being on a meridian (THE meridian) so it's default plus addon scenery for me plus 'full' FSUIPC which I've not fiddled with other than extending battery life  It's certainly not a problem sh...

Re: New client version available v1.03
Hi Guy's..
I may have been a bit premature saying that the route time calculation was on target. Just flown EGJJ-EGJB.. DH89.. 21nm and the client offered me 4mins! Actual flight time.. 16mins.
No great hassle as I know how long, give or take, a flight is going to be.

Re: Speeds and fuel in the client window
Ah.. tks for that Graham
Might our jolly programers be able to add this to the 'simple' fuel page too I wonder (though cost per ltr would still be nice)??

Re: cruise speeds...
:D :D Hiya Leif.. Yup.. completely understood  I just don't understand some of the comments that at certain levels.. flying at M.7-whatever gives an overspeed on certain aircraft. Of course it will. As you say, in the U.S. you change from IAS to Mach at transition which is fairy snuff  B...

Re: cruise speeds...
That's about the size of it
I don't think it's unreasonable to expect pilots to plan a flight around IAS/GS or to know what mach number it equates to at cruising alt. The important thing is how fast you're going over the ground

Re: Speeds and fuel in the client window
Hi Tyler :D Yup.. it's what you're used to I suppose and you miss it when it's not there.. like the fuel price on the loading page. I feel like have had a leg cut off with it not being there and on the old client.. there were only about 3 things on the entire page  Hopefully.. it'll find it's w...

Re: Speeds and fuel in the client window
TBH Tyler.. fuel indicated as a percentage is a bit of a misnomer. I've asked many RW pilots about fuel percentage over the years and the answer has been that they don't know.. it's not important. If for example you generally land a VC10 with 7000kg +/-.. what percentage that is is completely irrele...

Re: cruise speeds...
No.. I don't think I need a mach number flying at 1500ft in my Rapide. Does the scale actually go that low?? An interesting request but one which I fear has too many variables to make it viable. It is also true to say that the Indicated airspeed/groundspeed WILL change at different levels so t...

Hi Joe..
First flight on 1.0.3 A-OK Noticed route time calculation on target too
Nice idea to have a mirror site for next releases but agree this one has to be stable first
