Re: Schedules
Playing with it now in beta .....thought it would be way too complicated to mess with at all but its not really. 8) One suggestion (not sure its possible) - have the ability change flight time in the schedule itself. Most of us ignore the departure time when creating routes, but in the schedule it l...

Re: Delivery airport Edits
yup on admin only The youtube link below shows how Southwest accepts a new airplane from Boeing: https://youtu.be/xfBT54JKz7M So we have Real world precedent They don't get them delivered either. FSA operators should be happy they can still make a little money on the delivery acceptance flight out o...

Re: Fuel tank sizes always wrong
use "read only fuel method" and load the fuel in XP, not in FSairlines. NOTE TO USERS: THIS ALSO WORKS IN ALL SIMS WHEN A COMPLEX PAYWARE IS BEING USED THAT REQUIRES THE FUELING TO BE DONE IN THE PAYWARE PROGRAM VS FSAIRLINES CLIENT. Go to OPTIONS then select READ ONLY - Then just fuel the airplane ...

Re: Wrong Airport Handling
sounds like a reasonable compromise and will reduce the agony of pilots stranded and ticked off. 8) Although I still don't get it ... if the lat/long is correct and helipads are now incorporated into larger airports, how is the wrong airport thing happening? A lot of it comes down to the pre flight ...

Re: "Buy ticket" timeframe
Bottom Line: FSA is for entertainment purposes, to make it so strict you lose the ability to "just have fun" - that is a death sentence for the platform. Individual VA's that want more strict controls, you could require your pilots to rent an airplane and fly to their next location and ban the "buy ...

Re: Leased Planes Seating
I would suggest force the airline to restore it to the config it was in when leased, however that would require that layout to remain in the seat config section so the leasee would know what they have to set it back to when done with the lease. The only thing I would prohibit is a leasee converting ...

Leased Planes Seating
Quick Question: When an airline leases an airplane and then changes out the seating, do they have to put it back to what it was when they leased it when it comes time to return it? If so, how does one find that information? Especially if they changed the seats before flying it. In my case, I can loo...

Re: Aircraft base - clearly indicated
For each fleet in your VA, you assign an airport as that fleet's "home base" and you get 50% off parking fees for those aircraft when they are at that airport. You can change any fleet's home base at any time using the "update fleet" tab on the right margin. https://i.imgur.com/nyA1wdj.jpg As far as...

Bankrupt Airline's Leased Aircraft?
Curious question came up for which I could not find an answer: If Airline A is leasing aircraft from Airline B and Airline B goes bankrupt or inactive, what becomes of those leased airplanes? A) The aircraft in question is Instantly removed from service (airplane disappears from Airline A's inventor...

Re: Warehouses/Airport Centers
At this point in time I am unaware of any gate usage fees. Airport Centers are defined as either warehouses to store packages, a basic office (the lowest cost facility) and various levels of service centers where you can repair / modify aircraft at a fraction of the "list price" charged by FSA. I di...

Re: Stealing routes???
Based on that info, I would agree with you. I also think it unfair to put you in the middle of something that A) is a VA owner issue; B) something that could happen at anytime to anyone and forces you away from important things to sort out fighting in the sandbox. Honestly, you can't be asked to fi...

Re: Beta Client 2.6
FSA price on the Kodiak II is within reason. The old Quest Kodiak 100 is actually an out of production aircraft now and most used sales listings say "call for price" but I did see a 2015 100 model listed for 1.9 mil. so ya 700K may be a little light. Those are the most expensive float add-ons in the...

Re: Beta Client 2.6
https://i.imgur.com/wodpqvn.jpg These are pretty high end for a turboprop aircraft, cost for floats for smaller airplanes would of course be much less. Gear up on a GA airplane, I'd say hard landing type damage - gonna need new prop(s), some belly skin, and of course the gear bays may need rebuildi...
