A couple of ideas...............
Buying tickets If I want one of my pilots to fly from another airport, I would expect to pay the bill. If a pilot flies for a VA he is paid by his VA and they should pay for his tickets. Virtual Pilot Academy What can VA pilots spend thier money on ? Well they could pay for courses at a 'Virtual Pi...

I spoke to a pal of mine tonight who operates a jet fleet and asked about maintenance. I was surprised at the answer. BAe146 2000hrs or max 2years B737-300 4000hrs or max 5years B757-200 6000hrs or max 18months These are for major checks of about a week duration. Between times they have checks every...

Well, I think in reality the probability of a failure is about 0.00001%. Here on FlyNET it differs between 0.10% and 4.9% for a normal maintaned aircraft. I think that's ok, we want more failures, don't we ? :-P Well, as I am new here I suppose I would have to go with the flow but.....................

Flight reports
Can the flight time reported BE 'flight time' and not the 'block time'. The client knows when we take-off and land so I am sure this could easily be implemented. This will become even more important IF maintenance goes by flying hours as in the real world.

Pilots 'dead-heading'
It's just a thought............................. In the real world, if an airline has a route network with hubs and interconnecting flights between hubs, crew transfers are free. Could this be implemented at all here? If you operate a route between airports A and B, and you have a pilot that wishes ...

Hi Guys, This is only my second post on this forum and I have only been at FlyNet for a few days. I think the current system from what I can see is pretty good. I like the idea that my 'VA' (myself, one pilot) can grow quickly. I am not here to run any 'competitor' into the ground, I am here so that...

Hi, I am new to FlyNet and would like to make a suggestion to make things easier for us new guys. Those of you who have been here for a while and have grown with the programme probably know things inside out but it is quite difficult for new guys. I almost had to employ a private investigator to try...
