Re: FSA Airport Database with sort feature
It might be beneficial to have a list of the codes of all the airfields supplied with FS9?

Re: OVERSPEED TAXI - BUT ONLY LANDING!
the admins will check the flight status, but this may take a few days as the site is run on a voluntary basis. In this case it may be worthwhile raising a support ticket, but again please be patient... Incidentally, I'm not an admin, and as much as I would like to offer my services, I'm not au fait ...

Re: OVERSPEED TAXI - BUT ONLY LANDING!
Hiya,
I'm sure the admins may correct me but I believe that from touchdown to under 20 kts there is a 60 second window to get to this speed, any longer than that and you'll get the overspeed taxi report/penalty.

Re: CRJ 1000
Wilco Publishing do a CRJ series volume 1 with the the -200, -700 and -900 if that's any help, and they do a CRJ next generation for FSX that's in development as we speak, or there is apparrently a CRJ 100 available from this site (not that I personally use it so can't comment on its accuracy, suita...

Re: Hercules information
Various sources have confirmed that it is not possible to amend the aircraft.cfg file (by itself) in the engine/prop portion with real data as doing so totally destroys the model performance. It seems that the model uses other 'magic' in the modelling somewhere to generate the required engine perfor...

Re: Captain Sim C130 hercules
Hiya Chris :) Thanks for that... and as you say there are a lot of things in the SDK for FS9 that I just don't have an idea about. I've been onto JF but they say taht because of the partnership between themselves and CS is no longer in force, they cant help with the issues that I have. I think that ...

Re: Captain Sim C130 hercules
I got it from Just Flight within the last couple of weeks, and in the model I have the engine limits at take off cannot be achieved (19600 Tq, or 1083 PTIT), nor can the 1010 PTIT be achieved for standard climb performance, and the Oil temp cannot be kept within normal operating levels (with oil coo...

Re: Captain Sim C130 hercules
Hiya Buddy :) Found that out when putting in the 'real' engine parameters (for N2, governed prop speed and reduction ratio) in the .cfg file which would give the correct 100% governed prop speed of 1021 rpm, instead of the originals around 2200 rpm. The indicated Torques and PTIT's were far closer t...

Captain Sim C130 hercules
Morning All :) I'm trying to correct some of the issues with the above payware item. I have already found an issue after a brief look at the .cfg file (incidenatlly, there is only 1 cfg file for all models supplied) and have noted a couple of areas of interest that according to the aircrfat data tha...

Re: Hercules information
Okies, Having had a brief look at the aircraft config file for captain sim legendary C130, found that the propeller diameter is not quite right. The propeller diameter should be 13.5 feet and not 13 feet. I've made this modification to and it seems to increase the engine torque available slightly. I...
