Re: Cargo System/Packages

Yes that is normal and it drives us bonkers too with our own paperwork. Welcome to the club. LOL All Flights that carry a package will be affected when said package is finally delivered to it's destination. So if you Fly A to B with packages for E and then fly B to C and then C to D and then finally...

Re: Cargo System/Packages

All airlines have the ability to accept any package available, so it may just be market saturation. As time goes on the system should note the increased demand and increase the amount of packages generated between those city pairs. 265 nm is not a very long trip either so that may also be a factor o...

Re: ZFW from a member

You can turn off the generic cargo by modifying your flight routes and aircraft loading configuration. Copied from the "Route Cargo Limit" thread: 1) If the 'limit cargo' for the either the seat configuration or the routes is set to a value greater than zero then both packages and generic cargo will...

Re: Carenado M20R Ovation

You will need to order one off the "out of production" list as they are no longer made in the real world. There are 28 of them currently owned in FSA, none currently on the Trader List. The FSA code is the same as the Mooney Bravo - M20P. Our VA used to have one, that's how I know about the same cod...

Re: Adding fuel

Using the statistics board as a scoreboard is essentially useless, like trying to protect your sand castle on the beach from the tide. With all the features of the airlines, there is no real way to "competively compare" airlines to each other. Some fly at 16x speed, others don't allow it. Using the ...

Re: Allow usage of aircraft

I am very confused. How can you assign multiple Fleet Managers different fleets using the same rank?

To say the FSAirlines system has grown complicated is an understatement. A person almost needs a Masters Degree in Virtual Airline Management just to understand it all.

Re: Booked Flight Not Flown Causes Late Packages

This was more of an observation than a true complaint and it is very low priority and after review, I have to agree with the post above that not everything makes money. Virtual airline execs must sometimes choose between the lesser of two evils. Very appropriate post, fackprod, thanks. 8) Pilots sit...

Re: Booked Flight Not Flown Causes Late Packages

UPDATE: The flight "cleared" from it's booking status in 3 days, a full 24 hours after the priority packages "expired". I simply picked them off the aircraft in question once the flight cleared and added them to a larger aircraft load to absorb the loss as a profit reduction instead of an outright l...

Booked Flight Not Flown Causes Late Packages

One problem I can see cropping up is that the package shelf life is shorter than the booked flight shelf life. So if a pilot books a flight, loads it full of packages and sits on it, those packages, especially priority packages, will go outdated and there's nothing an airline can do about it except ...

Re: Allow usage of aircraft

Airline Operators with full permissions can assign any rank a wide variety of permissions with the system right now. You can split all of these permissions by fleet ... so you can give the same rank permission to buy/sell one set of fleets, while giving them permissions to repair a different group o...

Re: ZFW from a member

thinking outside of the box for a moment, would it be possible to add a "random dynamic load" to the aircraft seating chart tool? Kind of like "spinning a wheel of fortune" to see what you get? (70-100%) That would allow those who don't like to make money to have their fun while those who do still c...

Re: Not delivered package bug?

There is a bit of a trick to packages - you can cancel the flight but leave them on the aircraft-do not release them! Others can then fly the flight or transfer them plane to plane as long as the aircraft that has the packages on it is not booked. There will be no penalty. You can even rebook the fl...
