I thouhgt the fuel block was just how much fuel was burned.
From memory, this is my recollection: There is a fuel block, which is fuel used. Fuel bought is a separate field, and can be zero :D

u havent looked at it have u? the leaser sets an amount of deposit to be taken when someone leases the plane. then the leaser picks how much status must be on when it gets returned, and if its not returned with that amount or higher then the deposit goes to the leaser, but if it is returned with th...

Konny wrote:Ok, next thing I added:
Deposits for aircraft leases. When leasing an aircraft you can now enter a deposit which will be taken from the leaser's account and given back to him after the rental IF the aircraft's status is above a given level (you can choose).
Is this in addition to the lease cost?

All the false pireps/cheating has been removed from the logs, and the money earned from the flights has been deducted from the VA's accounts. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. For any other airlines thinking about cheating: The Admins have many new tools to discourage unfair play. Don't temp...

Hm, does anyone have an idea how to calculate these fees? How much would you have to pay for a middle size airport? It's dependant on a lot of factors. Weight of aircraft, aircraft handling size, gate requirements, and it's different for every airport in the world. CYYZ has very high landing fees, ...

a) Leasing Airlines will be pissed b) Cool, but what's the punishment when you default? Why would a bank loan out to airlines in the first place? You've got 25 mil in startup capital, unless you have the ability to offset a potential default with capital, no bank in the world will ever loan money to...

I'm going to say no again... It's just too complicated, from the admin side we're going to end up with people telling us "Gatwick isn't that expensive" etc. Airline Empires has had vicious disagreements on this, and other issues like it.

Mmmm, I'm going to say no to this, our A-check, B-Check (etc) system sort of covers the age thing already, and if you fly with correct models, the extra fuel burn gives another hit against profits. On top of that, with our new 'range' feature, some of the older birds have had their wings clipped, so...

To give people an understanding, the admins are trying to reduce the amount of complaining about 'unfairness'. Sure, it may seem easy enough to warn a pilot, but it really isn't, especially since Flynet grow daily. What we are trying to do is strike a happy medium, we're giving blanket ranges for ai...

We're using 525, because that is what airlines are outfitting it with, the 555 is for shorter range operations, with less first class space. We've decided to go with 525, again, because despite the airbus claim of 555, realistically, we're seeing 525 seats on most airframes. Most of the database als...
