Re: Prepar3D

Much over reaction indeed....sorry... It has been brought to my attention that Prepar3D actually wants active participation by pilots and professionals including "hardcore" flight simulator enthusiasts. Anyone can try the program through the Developer subscription at $9.95 per month. The end user ag...

Re: Prepar3D

Don't waste time and resources on a product that is not intended for the general public. The purpose of this software is to introduce response scenario's to government & professional transportation security contractors as they constantly train to fight in the world wide war against terrorism so you ...

Awards for successful landing after inflight emergency

OK, I've noticed FSA is generating more frequent inflight emergencies lately even on well maintained aircraft. That's cool with me, great procedure practice! Now if the elves in the workshop could figure out a way to award pilots who have successfully landed after dealing with an inflight emergency ...

Re: ICAO change in Armenia

Thinking about this issue some more, if we land at Zvartnots, the lat/long should tell the FSA system we are in the correct place regardless of the code, right? If that's the case, then we only need to file our flight plan into UGEE on FSA, then file our flight plan in FSX to UDYZ. Once we get there...

Re: ICAO change in Armenia

CapFlyer, 'search' only turns up 3 replies, so whatever was discussed previously does not come up under ICAO Armenia or Zvartnots search criteria..... I'm just finding out about this problem here in 2011/2012. FSX actually has the UDYZ code and FSA has UGEE. Having said that, I wonder if there is a ...

Keep Your Fleet Maintained!

Hi Everyone, Just a quick reminder to keep your fleet maintained by performing those needed services at regular intervals. If you don't, Dr. Evil living deep inside the FSA castle will make bad things happen to your planes inflight ..... things like gear that won't come down, even when hitting the m...

Match your favorite real airline seat configuration

With the introduction of the new seat configuration feature, VA operators can now match their favorite real airline's seat configuration on their VA aircraft. A great way to find out how your favorite real airline has each type configured is to use Seat Guru found here:

Re: Seat Config tool... released and I'm disapointed

Ah, no worries then. I was just giving feedback as there probably aren't many ERJ's out there compared to everything else. I think the whole concept is cool and like anything new, it will have people who like it and those who don't. I urge everyone to keep an open mind and visualize the future possi...

Re: Seat Config tool... released and I'm disapointed

The config will not allow correct seating for Embraer ERJ145 (American Eagle). It has the correct pax number, but seats are not 2 X 2. Rather 1 on left, 2 on right.
I have flown in this aircraft numerous times and it is my favorite with more leg room than MD-80 or 737.

Re: Landing Lights

Saitek Panel Issue : Hi Everyone, I just discovered the issue with the Saitek panels and programs that do not recognize some of the switches (like Wilco PIC 737 & FeelThere ERJ145). The gear lever always works and when the gear lever is selected for UP after takeoff, the panel sends a switch positi...

Wilco PIC737 and landing lights

Hi Everyone! This applies to the Wilco Pilot in Command 737-400. I have not tested it with 300 or 500 as my VA does not have those aircraft. Just FYI, if you turn off the taxi lights right after pulling up the gear (normally done in a real one to keep from burning up the nose wheel well), you MIGHT ...
