Re: Compulsory flights for Students

OK I have done a little research with my account I use for making some video's and have discovered this: Use the TR rating and the only flights available will be training flights. You can set up ranks to be fleet specific as well so if you are using say a Beechcraft King Air for training but you hav...

Re: Compulsory flights for Students

Yes, Use Training Flights that will have no financial affect on the airline. Put your training aircraft into it's own fleet and assign just that fleet to the pilot in training, thus locking the trainee into that aircraft or group of aircraft you have for training purposes. There is a 'training" type...

Re: Flight aborted msg beta client v2.4-b03

How about this for a GSX workaround? 1) Do all of your pre flight planning as normal, use GSX at the gate, etc. 2) Pushback from the gate to start engine point, set the parking brake. 3) THEN and only then, Start the Client. 4) Start engines and off you go You would just have to adjust your prefligh...

Re: Flight aborted msg beta client v2.4-b03

Flight aborted is causing me pilots :( some of my pilots are leaving me due to this issue. very difficult to explain to them as we don't exactly know how to explain nor how to solve this issue. I hope the flight ABORTED be removed for now and instead of entirely aborting everything the flight will ...

Re: Future airport db update

I keep my own "table" as it were as Active Sky Next weather data uses current airport codes. One way older systems like mine can be used with newer codes is the simple use of fsxmap.com. It's a great tool for showing every default airport in FSX. All you have to do is type in the city name and it wi...

Re: ACFT registration change on private fleet

I have it with my personal Piper.

Go to your hangar, click on the aircraft data icon "i" then you will see "change aircraft registration".

Maybe Joe is just that fast with 1 day service! 8)

Re: Flight aborted msg beta client v2.4-b03

FYI - the same thing will happen if one makes a flight plan in FSX with a gate different from where the airplane is at and then says YES when the flight planner asks if you want to move to the starting position of the flight plan. It is vital that the Client be the last thing to start AFTER the flig...

Re: Cargo System/Packages

Yes, we just did it after a serious crash at -34,000 fpm to bring the pieces back to our Service Center to repair the aircraft. When an aircraft crashes and is at some podunk airport or heliport (nearest facility), there would be no way to retrieve those packages from the aircraft without transferri...

Package Release Report Data

Is there any chance we can have package release reports in the Finances/Transaction section have additional information to help owner/operators track who released those packages? We currently only have the Fleet it is charged back to. A pilot name or ID number and/or Aircraft Registration number wou...

Here we go the next installment in the Tutorial Series: Batch Loading Routes https://youtu.be/asXiguwai6I It went a little long - 16 minutes but I also reviewed what we did in the first Create Flight Routes video and covered some lesser known things like where do you find the FSA code for a specific...

Re: No Booked flights..

Have you tried just clicking on the Flight Information tab when you get this "no flight booked" message?
Sometimes I find you just need to "kickstart" the client by clicking on the Flight Information tab.
