Re: ICAO CHANGES

Airlines simply need to post a NOTAM on their sites to their pilots regarding any code issues they fly into. It is not that difficult to keep a bulletin board with "code conversions". Knowing the database is once again solid per matching FSX codes, the few that are an issue with any particular airli...

Re: Cargo and Passenger Adjustments in client.

There is no valid reason Joe.

I think the best course of action is to continue to have pilots submit updates to aircraft databases to reflect the proper max landing weights and over time, they will work themselves out.

Re: Airport Codes

As promised, they be done :)

Some of my earlier ones may have been nitpicking ... heliports in FSA vs short grass strips in FSX, but if FSA had the name different, then I called them different.

Re: Some thoughts on Penalties.

With or without crash detection on, I've never seen a gear up landing with a successful outcome...... my student in fact did a wheels up landing in a Beechcraft 1900, (July 19,2016 LAS9991) did not understand why his FSX recorded crash and the client recorded it as well. "Crash" with landing fpm of ...

Re: Airport Codes

oh snip from above .... the google marker off the airport is from the beta page..... but I think FSX has some ummm "creative license" taken in where they put airports (lat/long).... so ballpark maybe about the best we can ever hope for when comparing to current "real world location". 290 to go makin...

Re: Airport Codes

FAMK in FSX is NOT the same as FAMK in FSA FAMM in FSX is listed as FAMK in FSA - FAMK in FSX is listed as ZA-0085 in FSA. This conflict would be resolved when referring codes back to FSX as base database ..... http://i1335.photobucket.com/albums/w671/LVflygirl/famm%20conflict_zps2jpreeti.jpg

Re: Airport Codes

Hi again Joe, Finding a lot of these airports outside USA, the google mark in FSA is wrong by about the same distance the discrepancy is..... seems every one with same code is coming out as 'same' just with lat/long off by a tick. Example: ESMS "distance 1.06" http://i1335.photobucket.com/albums/w67...

Re: Airport Codes

Ha ha all good again I'll see about working on getting through some more. Most of the "different" are heliports/pads in FSA and grass runways in FSX, but we'll go through them all to make sure no more St. George Utah's or Austin Executive's out there. :)

Jealousy ...

People see you doing good things and improving everything and they can't stand that. Always easier to tear something down than to build it up.

Karma will get them in the end. She is a ruthless bitch. ;)

Re: Airport Codes

I think this is where members should not sit idly by and make you do all the work. There will be many unknown airports that no one will ever fly to with code issues. On the other hand there are some that one or more airlines fly to on a regular basis that are not in FSX but they have created from sc...

Re: Airport Codes

OH, unrelated but sorta kinda:

while you are in the airport database is there any way to change the sort field to location (nearest town) and not airport name?
