Re: Airline Tour awards

We post awards in a couple of ways: 1) take the total the pilot has generated income wise flying the tour and divide it by the current "currency exchange rate" to tip him and give him that amount. This means of course the airline's net income at year end is 0 for the flights in question but who care...

Re: Pilot Tip Fee

I just looked and to tip out a pilot today will cost us 133:1. Our dynamic multiplier is at 50.

Pilot Tip Fee

Hey did the pilot tip fee change?

We are doing our year end report and noticed we tipped a pilot $250K for completing our Europe Tour and got charged $43 million. That's 172:1 and our multiplier at the time was 50.

Just curious cause WOW it got expensive to reward pilots!

Re: FLIGHT PLAN EDIT ISSUE WHEN ADDING AIRCRAFT

Yup, all fixed. Every airline owner/operator should export their route master at least once a month if not at the end of every week like we do. and yes operator error 100%. Once I paid attention to the drop down tabs and made sure ADD A/C was selected instead of default SET A/C, edit functions work ...

Re: FLIGHT PLAN EDIT ISSUE WHEN ADDING AIRCRAFT

You know I have never noticed the "set" before, it is very possible, even probable the cause was simply operator error. I just tried again making sure I selected ADD A/C and everything works fine. Thanks for the clarification ... I don't know how I was missing that "set" tab.

Re: Business Jet Seat Class Upgrades

 After sleeping on it I'm thinking why open this can of worms at all? Aircraft that consistently prove they cannot make a profit can be adjusted case by case through a support ticket. There is really no need to create more work for Joe than needed, I'm sure he will testify he has plenty as it ...

FLIGHT PLAN EDIT ISSUE WHEN ADDING AIRCRAFT

We've had this happen twice now to two different airline administrators: Select a specific aircraft with like range to the one we want to add to our routes system (all airports). Then SELECT ALL at the bottom of the page followed by EDIT FLIGHTS. Select ADD A/C then use drop down menu to select new ...

Business Jet Seat Class Upgrades

Hi everyone, I have been doing a lot of research with business jet operations as we expand our fleet to include Executive Jet Charter Services. The seating on most business jets seems to be economy with ticket factor of 2 or 3 applied. To simplify the process and allow us to make the maximum revenue...

Re: Landing Rate Detection in FSA

So if you "grease it" on the main wheels but hold the nose off for a bit, then slam the nose into the ground (good example would be Concorde, very high nose attitude at touchdown, deploy reverse which keeps nose up, then hit the brakes and yoke forward, heavy nose touchdown) I just watched video's ...

Service Intervals

Anyone know the threshold of status when an airplane goes from needing a 1 day A service to a 3 day B service? I am guessing it's 95%

Re: Landing Rate Detection in FSA

From the data I have gathered with our pilots, I think the FSA grading system judges "all contact points" so slamming down the nose gear would indeed make that overall "average" much more worse than a landing rate monitor would show.
