Some functions returning strange things

Hi, I am experimenting with the XML interface. As I tested some functions (especially for retrieving aircraft data) they returned data without use to me. getAircraftList Returns a list of over 7000 aircraft. But from our va's fleets no aircraft seems to be in that list. getFleetAircraftList <fsa_out...

Re: Blackbox addition

I understand it is hard to see what I mean when the event is standing alone. My intension is that this event is a part of a combination event. example: <combination text="Speed check" sound="voice/check_your_speed.wav" multiple="0" > <event var="altitudestd" value="12000" method="less" /> <event var...

Re: Blackbox addition

And again another idea:

Conditions should be invertable (negateable).
example:

Code: Select all

<event var="flightstate" value="3" method="not" multiple="0" />
means event triggered when it is NOT in flightstate 3 ("landed")
Maybe you find a better way to implement. It's just a suggestion.

Re: Blackbox flightstate buggy?

Hi Jörg, Can you please also show me the relevant part of your blackbox file? Sure. First the debug part. (Just for info) <!-- debug events --> <!-- ============ --> <event var="flightstate" value="0" method="equal" multiple="0" text="debug:Flightstate 0" /> <event var="flightstate" value="1" metho...

Blackbox flightstate buggy?

Hi, while adapting my blackbox.xml to the new features I discovered some "strange" triggering of certain events. Therefore I added some debug messages to the log to see when every flightstate is switched. During a test flight in a straight climb shortly after take off the log shows triggering of thr...

Re: Blackbox addition

Thanks a lot. I wasn't aware that the comments are already available.

While editing the xml I got another idea for a new event trigger: the status of the passenger signs (seat belts and no smoking)

Blackbox addition

First, thanks for constantly improving the features of blackbox. Here are two small addition I suggest: - in case of bigger and more complex blackbox files it would be handy to add comments and remarks. - add a timer for events (e.g. event triggered after x secs/mins elapsed or event action occurs a...

Ok thanks, I didn't realize it were the planes, but nevertheless I liked the old style more.

Re: Bug in VA integration pack - Registration

Additionally there's a minor bug compared to the old integration pack: when a new pilot applies through the registration&application page, the starting airports available in the dropdown are the airports where the pilots of the va stay at the moment. In the old pack it were the airports where traini...

Re: Overspeed Delay

I have the same annoying problem. This is no "delay", it is a tolerance. Sometimes (especially) FSX changes wind directions drastically not seldom from tail to headwind and back within seconds. Imagine you are flying with 240 kts and a tailwind of 25 kts. Suddenly the wind changes from tail to head ...

Range Filter for flight booking

Hi would it be possible to add a filter on the book flight page where you can limit the available flights to a certain range around the departure airport? e.g. I'd like to make a flight somewhere around 300 nm long. I would select this range and all flights appear that lie beneath or around that val...

Flights table

Just a question (and maybe a suggestion ;-) ) Is it easy to add a flight table (sorry I don't know the proper term in english) for the VA's active flights? I know we have a listing in the integration pack already. What I mean is more like what you find on airports: http://www.ksta.de/ks/images/mdsBi...

Re: Aircraft Problem

As far as I know is the mtl installer for AI aircraft only, installed for use with IVAO.
You will have to look for third party developers like Wilco, PMDG or else for a proper 733 model.

Re: What about a multiplayer server?

...We shouldn't try to make a new/better VATSIM or IVAO, that's not the aim of FSAirlines. ... I copy that. My understanding of the request isn't in the way of replacing IVAO/VATSIM. It is more like "meet the people in the sky". If someone wants to fly via IVAO/VATSIM then ok, he may do so. The oth...
