Client crashed sometime during flight

Hi all, Just now I flew a flight for VHA. The leg was KWRB - KBLV. Sometime during the 112min flight, the client crashed. I did not receive any notification of an error. I only found out about it after landing, setting the parking brake, and waiting...and waiting...and waiting...I then checked via t...

Hi Alky, The aircraft I'm flying is a repaint of Rick Piper's Viscount 700D...kind of a beta, since the night textures haven't been released yet. I'm using Fraser McKay's most excellent Viscount 700 v4 panel with it. The odd thing is, I'd flown the same aircraft/panel combination from Midway to Port...

Hi Ssanchez, Thank you for the reply and taking an interest in my problem. No, I'm not running a Dual-Core system....I wish I was LOL! I'm running a old "CPU-Challenged" AMD Athlon 2500+, XFX GeForce 6600 card, 1G RAM. Actually the old beast does run FS9 and IL2 quite well, all things considered. I ...

Well....my experiment flying the route with the client tracker disabled didn't work either. About an hour into the flight the same thing occurred...dumped back to the desktop for no apparent reason, except for the dialoque box about FlyNet.exe encountered a problem and it trying to send the report t...

Hi Alky,

Thanks for the reply. However, the only scenery I'm running in the continental USA is the default FS9 scenery. Also keep in mind this happened in 2 different default scenery areas.

Going to have a go now with the client tracker disabled.

Regards,
Scott

John,

Thanks for the info on de-activating the tracker. I'll do that and have another go when I get off work in a few hours.

Scott

Hi Dan, No, I don't use the TimeZone utility. Isn't there a way a person can alter the ini file to prevent the client from tracking the flight? I thought I had seen that in a post here somewhere some time ago. I thought maybe if I disabled that I'd try the flight again and see if I still have proble...

Dan, Thanks for the reply. However, as Leif posted above, it is not an AFCAD problem...as the on the second occurance this morning it was on a different route entirely. The common denominator during both failures was that it happened at approx the same time of day. Just so you know, I use FSAutoStar...

For the second morning in a row...

...at this same approx time, I was flying at booked flight (a different one than yesterday morning), and once again, about 2/3 of the way into the flight, FS9 shut down - no warning, no error msg or anything. The MS box did pop up on each occasion saying that it was going to send an error report reg...

Greetings, I am attempting to download the latest client, but the link on the news page results in the following message: Not Found The requested URL /downloads/FlyNET_064b.zip was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to h...

Hi, Thanks for the reply. "Don't start on the runway"? Why not? I've done it on all my flights to this point without a problem. However, I will give it a go from a gate in the future. But, once again, I'm requesting that my flight be canceled, since, through no fault of my own, I won't be able to co...

Hi Dan,

Thank you for the reply. No, I am absolutely certain I am/was at the right airport. The aircraft was placed on Rwy26 at PAJN.

"aircraft not at departure airport" message

Greetings, I am using the latet client, v06.3b. I fly for Venture Hawaii. I have booked Flight VHA1300 PAJN - PAYA. The aircraft (an Andover) is sitting on Rwy26, ready to go. When I load the client and click on fly booked flight, I am getting the message in the subject line of this post. Sooo....wh...

Just to make sure I understand this fueling thing correctly. If when ready to fly a booked flight, I start up FlyNet and click on "fly booked flight". For the sake of argument, let's say the screen indicates 2000lbs fuel. If I wish to take off with 10,000lbs for the flight, I load 8000lbs, not 10,00...
