Re: Outbound packages

The problem with picking up packages before the flight is that the flight has not happened yet so if the flight never happens how do you charge the airline. But it may be worth considering next time I make revisions to packages.

Re: type request addition

Looking at the data you entered, the Dry Operating Weight and Zero fuel weight are equal, meaning it cant carry any payload. I am sure that is not what you want so if you can find the maximum payload (excluding fuel) it would make the aircraft useful.

Re: type request addition

To submit a new aircraft go to Database -> Aircraft in the platform then select 'Add New Aircraft' from the options. I took a closer look at the E1000 in the DB, its marked as prototype meaning it has not been delivered yet. But checking Wikipedia it says the second delivery happened in may, so I ma...

Re: type request addition

Looks like the E1000 is already in the database but the Eclipse 550 is not. So feel free to submit it, just make sure you have good numbers and a good reference.

Re: multiple stops

While you can load/unload packages in a divert, you can't do so with passengers and general cargo. Most of the time I would just create a flight for each segment you want to fly.

Re: Exactly When Does The Client Begin Recording?

It sounds not that different than those who setup that 14 hour flight and 30 minutes in, after getting to cruise and setting the autopilot, leave for the next 13 hours until its time to descend. Of all the stats we keep track of hours I have probably considered the least important. As part of the no...

Re: Crew on board

Thanks for that, the problem seams to be the changes in the new client rather than anything co-pilot related as all his flights with client 2.4 have that problem.

Re: Autosve don't work!

If autosave was on it should at least have shown you the options to restore flight, if it did not I expect its not active.

Re: Exactly When Does The Client Begin Recording?

Ok, I just double checked the code, the flight 'starts' when the aircraft starts to taxi. Is that when it should start or should it start counting at take off.

Re: Exactly When Does The Client Begin Recording?

In this case it is the simplest answer, it starts after you confirm fuel and payload with that last push of 'Fly'. With all the changes in the systems recently that is one thing I have not touched.

Re: Crew on board

it should add to the pilots hours, they get to share in the flight revenue and the pilots are all moved to the destination all on a single aircraft movement. Its really intended for pilots who want to fly multiplayer as members of the same crew can get recorded as one 'flight' and not creating multi...

Re: Linux Support

We don't have a linux client and don't see one any time soon. At one time Konny was working on one but he has not been around for a while since work, wife, family got in the way and I don't see any recorded flights that used it. We had a Mac OS version that worked on XP-9 but I could never re-build ...

Re: Super Stuffed Flights - Variety Possibilities?

its true that on real world flights they are not always full. But then on busy routes there are often many flights a day. I took a look at KSFO, on FSA for the 20th we had a total of 7 departures and only one on the 21st. On a normal day United airlines will have 12 departures just to Chicago KORD. ...

Don't forget that if you have crashed and don't feel its because of things outside of your control you can ask for the flight to be reviewed and we can delete them. Press the 'flight needs review' on the flight report page.

Re: an other example to few pax and multiplier problem

Update: Doing some more digging, I tried to set exactly as you did, same AC, same airports, default price on the route. Turns out my AC had the same setup of 9 business class seats. I got nine passengers, so taking a closer look at your VA, your reputation is at 59% because of two crashes earlier wh...
