Re: Cargo System/Packages

Question to all: Should I do another video tutorial on how the ground delivery system works? It is a big tricky as you have to get to packages/va packages and select deliver / submit BEFORE that airplane is booked on it's next flight. AND most do not realize if you are picking 100nm packages you ar...

Re: Out for a few days

While I am back, things at work and at home have been quite busy as I am trying to catch up after my trip. Still have some requests I need to respond to but will get to them as soon as I can.

Re: How to try and fix 'wrong aircraft' in client

We have had several pilots using the Thomas Ruth version of the 225 and so far the problem is the empty_weight property which should be 550000. But read the instructions above and you will see exactly why the client is rejecting it.

Re: Out for a few days

I’m going to be out for a few more days, I’m traveling from Saturday 28 September till Sunday 6 October taking the misses on a long overdue road trip. She is not complaining to much that I’m bringing a laptop with me but I’m definitely not going to be online as much as normal. Hopefully things will ...

Re: Fleet management

Yes, the question is do we update the current rank so it has a big grid of permissions, think of a spread sheet with a row for each fleet, or do we allow the creation of separate ranks/roles for each fleet so a pilot could have a different rank for each fleet. The later may be more flexible and allo...

Re: Beta Testing: Restore Flight

Hi Joe, I unselected that option after my flight last night. Will try another flight tonight to see if that eliminates the pausing. The pauses in my case were of about 5 seconds duration, which can be a serious problem during takeoff and especially landing (which indeed it was at KDEN). Cheers, Sco...

I have the new Client installed and am getting those pauses as well.

If select the option 'disable autosave' does it go away? I think I may have to see if I can detect when the autosave takes to long and turn that feature off by default.

Re: Beta Testing: Restore Flight

Hi, with the new client version the restore flight coming alive. Its a good item i think. But i have now the problem that my flight sim (P3D v4.5) is stopped (No Programm Response) by everytime (every two minutes) that the client save the current aircraft position. Should that be so? :?: :? I run P...

Aircraft Allowed in FSA

I am changing the rules a bit on what aircraft are allowed to be used in FSA, here are the new conditions where we will allow aircraft to be used by airlines. These changes should be considered experimental and can be revoked at any time, if these rules are revoked the purchase will be refunded but ...

Re: New Hubs and routes

I'm back after a substantial absence, and like a number of the new features, although I have lost a lot of my airlines budget whilst I've been away. Getting back into the swing of things with my trusty FS9 and windows XP after having to do a complete rebuild of my software after a disk crash :( Als...

Wrong Aircraft, How to figure out why

I often get contacted by pilots who say the client won't accept the flight sim model they want to use and don't know why. There is a way to find out why the client rejected it. In your Documents/FSairlines folder there is a debug file created by the client that will have a name like fsairlines_debug...

Re: Cargo System/Packages

the problem with extending the delivery radius beyond 100 nm is that 100 nm is the distance where they start to be placed we would not want someone to be able to pick up a package and then deliver it without actually flying anywhere. But sure you suggest we have different delivery radius's for packa...
