Selecting aircraft types for a flight plan.

When setting up a route, Would it be possible to select a number of aircraft types for a single route? I am trying to replicate an historic airline that used seven different types of jets over mostly the same routes and used them interchangeably. Yes I could create a different flight for each AC but...

There are several places 'sightseeing' operations would make sence like over the grand canyon or major cities, for both fixed wing and rotory aircraft. But how would you define it?

How far in advance did you book the flight? Is it possible that from the time you booked the flight to the time that you finished the flight it was greater than 24 hours?

Flight Logs

I was looking at the flight log for an aircraft operated by the Classic British Flight Service and noticed that in the Flightlog the code for the departure airport is appended to the name of the airline in the Virtual Airline column. John, Yes, I see your point. My idea was that aircraft could be configured to the routes they are used on. An aircraft used on a short haul route would might have a hard time selling first class seats while that same aircraft used on an international flight would sell more of them. The aircraft itse...

First Class Seats. I some half baked ideas on the subject, although I had not completely worked out all the details. We redefine the number of passengers in the aircraft type database to be the maximum number an aircraft could carry. The airlines could configure each plane by paying a per seat fee a...

I agree with this idea. I would propose that pilots use the same reputation formula as airlines. That way rookie pilots start out with a lower reputation until they can prove themselves and pilots can recover from there minor transgressions.

Taxi Problem

I was starting to taxi to the runway last night as was going pretty slow ( < 10kn) when the aircraft I was using suddenly started getting those unexplained bounces that FS aircraft sometimes get, the wheels must have left the ground on one of the bounces and since I had only the taxi lights on not t...

I don't know if we need it broken out that much, but total hours on the airframe would be nice to show.

Another situation that just occurred to me. Its would not uncommon for someone to sign in on there home computer and book a flight, then later when sign in on there work computer and do administrative stuff, both systems will have different IP addresses.

Yes it is very common that dial up users will have a different IP address every time. Even users with permanent connections (like my cable modem) more often than not, do not have a static IP address and it can be re-assigned at any time.

Mission Statement

Just a small idea. Add a database field for the airline where a mission statement can be entered. That way the CEO can explain what the airline is trying to accomplish or the way its going to operate. That way potential pilots looking for an airline to join would have more to go on than just the air...

Most Hours Award

I was looking at the monthly awards page and the numbers for those who had most hours ("Most Active") does not look correct. I know I did not have as many as the person in the #1 slot but I know I had more than the others. Given how many miles I have I am probably not in the top 5 so I am not expect...
