Until Konny decides otherwise, the rule is the rule. If that is the case we should probably drop the Antonov AN-225 from the database, I don't think anyone is operating it. Dave, apparently the B-52 was in the system before the rule was adopted and was grandfathered. I think only one is in service ...

Ideally you should be able to distinguish between airports that have either jet fuel, av gas, both or none and which type of fuel the aircraft needs. The flight sim airline database has this information in it and type of fuel needed by the aircraft is in its aircraft.cfg file. Although I don't know ...

More information in support of the beluga. From the airbus website A wide range of commercial charter missions have been performed by Airbus Transport International, from airlifting a 17.6-metre-long x 6.5-metre-diameter chemical tank weighing 39 metric tonnes to transporting a large French masterpi...

While I am in total agreement that military aircraft and aircraft that have not entered civilian fleet have no place in flynet but I think the A300-600ST "Beluga" does have a place. It does have a civilian type certificate and has entered service with airbus for civilian cargo missions. I am sure if...

I said it does not work at all. My experience with it. I have created a flynet directory next to my fs9 folder where I put the client, I have a shortcut on my desktop that links to the flynet.exe that I use to start the client. When I started the client it told me that a new version was available an...

Penalties

I was thinking that we should change the way that flying penalties are assessed to be calculated based on the amount of time the penalty occurs rather than a fixed percent if it happens once. So for landing lights off below 1000ft the penalty could be 1% + 0.1% * number seconds lights are off. For s...

I don't have a problem with the current system although I have no objections to giving CEO's more controls over the pay structure. I think in flynet the pilot has to do more of the fuel planning that would be done by others in a real airline so to reward them based on profit is appropriate. As for t...

I have had this happen to me in FS2004 using default scenery (fortunatly not in a flynet flight). So I don't think you can blame this on FSX, best thing you can do is turn off crash detection.

I would think that requiring the airline that leased an aircraft to repair it at the end of the lease would be a good idea. They would be automatically charged, and if the they don't have enough cash in there budget to pay for that then there airline is dissolved.

I have a new machine that does not seam to have an internal speaker that I can hear (my old system does). But I can hear the bing bong when a flight ends. I have no problem with the current sounds, but it would be nice if they all came out the sound card rather than having some come out the internal...
