Chris, I don't really agree with you on that. First we have more CEO's than pilots, second I think its more discouraging to pilots to discover after you land you lost money than to know going in that this will be a money loosing flight. Your premise seams a bit contradictory, that as a CEO I would c...

I was just able to do my first flynet flights using FSX, there is a bit of a trick to getting the client started. My normal method of 1) Load FS, select aircraft, airport, weather and time, start flight. 2) Alt-Escape to switch to the desktop. 3) Load flynet client, start booked flight. 4) Click on ...

Part of this idea came because the client has a fair amount of space that we are not using. Some of the information may not be needed but I would like to see the departure and arrival airports as a final confirmation that I am on the right flight. The "Do not change fuel" option is to indicate that ...

In my opinion the permissions of the manager should be changed to allow

Hiring of pilots
Managing of type ratings

But now allow

Buying/Selling/Leasing of aircraft.

Client Improvement

What I would like in the client is more information on the screen when you select fly booked flight, maybe something like this. Flight : PS8110 From : KSFO To : PHNL Distance : 2085nm AC Type : Lockheed L-1011-1 Aircraft : N10112 Passengers : [___251] 0-251 (zero to what flynet calculated) Cargo : [...

I though I could shine some light on this by doing the math but my results did not make any sence. JetDirect A320 flight on 10/23 112 pax @ 100kg each + 4290kg cargo (max 9125) + 5000kg fuel = 20114kg + 42220 dry weight = 62334kg 14666kg below MTO. JetDirect A321 flight on 10/26 118 pax @ 100kg each...

I got FSX over the weekend tried to do a flynet flight without success. I download and installed the latest FSUICP for FSX. I load FSX with the correct aircraft and airport. I switch out to load the flynet client, enter the fuel amount but am then unable to switch back to FSX. The task manager shows...

That would allow unhindered cheating though Joe. We've already had several VAs use unlimited fuel cheats to not have to buy fuel, why would they not then use such an option to their advantage as well? No that's not what I meant at all, if this option was selected rather than asking how much fuel to...

A simple fix might be to have a check box in the client that has the effect of leaving the fuel levels as they are instead of entering the fuel amount and having the client reload it.

I suppose its debatable which one to use. The L-382 is the internal lochkeed model number for aircraft produced for the military customers while the L-100 is the model number for aircraft produced for civilian customers. Its listed on airliners.net as the L-100 http://www.airliners.net/info/stats.ma...

I put in an edit to change the name of the C-130 to L-100 since that is what lockheed called the civilian version of the herk, but I dont think thats what caused your current issue as that was weeks ago, and you still have two left your fleet, if it was because of the name change it should have effe...
