Re: Another way to fuel cheat

Maybe cheat is too strong a word, but I think it still gaming the system. Its not about the price you paid for the fuel, its about the value of the fuel and the effective value of the fuel in the tanks your aircraft is worth the price paid at the airport times the multiplier. Brian pretty much had t...

Another way to fuel cheat

The other day I saw three flights flagged as needs review that looked fine, the pilots even lost money on them. But the reason the person flagged them was that the airline in question lowered there multiplier down to x50, did some flights where they filled up the tanks on there aircraft, then increa...

Re: Aerodromes of Argentina

The ICAO code is the primary identifier of an airport in the system, every airport in our database must have a unique ICAO code. Now I am not sure what we have done in the past for airports that don't have a code but we need to have one. As far as I know all commercial airports have an icao but don'...

We now have something inplace that tests airline names. I used the list from wikipedia since it seamed pretty complete and is likely to be updated in the future.

NEW! Mark Flight For Review

Since it will be at least a few more weeks till the new site is ready, I have implemented some new features for FlyNET that I had been working on for the new system. First is the 'Mark as cheat' button on the flight reports has been removed and has been replaced by a new button that says 'Flight nee...

Re: Flight Problem

In this case I think deleting the flight is unnessesary. Even though that flight lost money, most of that was on fuel you did not have to buy on your next flight. The profit you made on the next flight with this aircraft more than canceled the loss.

Re: Flight Marked As Cheated

Ok, if I read you correctly, the flight in question you used lb's in the client instead of kg's and thats when the error happened. But since then you have been using kg's and its been working ok. Since DaKurt is hard at work on the client for the new site I don't think he will have to fix the existi...

FSAirlines Site Data Refresh

Today I updated the data on the FSAirlines.net website, removing the existing data and replacing it with the working data from the FlyNET website. So if you registered or flew flights between March 2 and today on the FSAirlines.net site, that is now gone. But if you registered or flew flights on the...

Re: flight stuck....

There is an automatic process that checks for locked flight that runs a couple times a day, you just have to wait a bit and it will clear itself.
