Re: X-Plane 12 not started
I had the same issue, but I find running FSA client as Administrator seems to make it work.

Zero Value on an aircraft just returned from lease
Hi
Please can you advise as to the possible reason why one of our 737-900s (G-UCHK, at EDDF) has now got a value of $0.
Thanks
Simon

Fleet Finance Balances Don't Add Up
Hi I keep a fairly close eye on the balances among our airline's various fleets, transferring between them on occasions to keep them at their desired levels. Our airline's current balance is a nice healthy $3.8bn or so. When I look at the "transfer money" page and add up the various balances of the ...

Maintenance: 100%/never-flown but over 2 years since maintained
Hi One of our aircraft, an A359, is parked at Dubai, has not been maintained for over 2 years, but is available for us to sell/lease/transfer. Does the fact that the aircraft is at 100% status (or the fact it has zero hours on the clock) mean it maintains the privileges of a "recently maintained" ai...

Re: Maintenance Centers
Hi We have an A350 F-WWYB at Dubai that was maintained (by an airline leasing the aircraft from us) a few weeks ago, but attempting to put it on the lease market we are told that it hasn't been repaired in a year. Other aircraft (eg E145 G-UBBK at EGLL) also are suffering from this same issue when w...

Re: Maintenance and Fee Changes
OK, I just wanted to check whether I'd be wanting to pre-empt the "go-live" by transferring aircraft that are very close to or beyond the 2-year point and not in locations where we can get some "cheap servicing" :-) I have spent some time over the past 24 hours partially-populating a spreadsheet wit...

Re: Maintenance and Fee Changes
Good stuff, Joe. Will encourage those of us running airlines to do a bit of stocktaking and logistics management. Can I ask: can an aircraft be *transferred* if it has not been maintained for 2 years? Also, how many financial transactions will we see in our Finances? i.e. what level of granularity -...

Re: Maintenance Centers
Yes, I found that yesterday I was getting maintenance cancelled instantly, but moving an appropriate budget into the fleet that the aircraft belongs to sorted it out. In my case I have created two new fleets : "Maintenance Due" (to put aircraft in that I deem "in need of maintenance" and therefore t...

Conflict Routes - Clarity, please
Hi UK Direct likes to be a friendly airline and operate partnerships with other airlines. Partly because we have such an extensive schedule of routes, many of the airlines we codeshare with have got a lot of conflicting routes with us (in a few cases, "hundreds of them"). Please can we get clarity o...

Floatplanes interchangeable with wheeled ones?
Hi Can I ask if wheel/float/ski configurations of aircraft are interchangeable as far as FSA client is concerned? For instance, if my airline has a Piper J3, can I use it with wheels one day and with floats (at a seaplane base) the next? I use the J3 as an example because in the database at the mome...

Re: How to make A2A Spitfire be treated as a Spitfire MkXIV
Hmmm. Seemed ok but after a single flight it's status has gone from 100% to 33% and will cost over $800k to fix. Apparently I was above the max landing weight.
Maybe I'll stick to flying the Texan in FSA.

Re: How to make A2A Spitfire be treated as a Spitfire MkXIV
Excellent; I am now able to book a flight, and hitting the "Fly" button takes me to the fueling screen, so all looking good from an FSA point of view. Thanks for sorting that all out. I then had an issue with the Spitfire itself (it wouldn't let me got into the maintenance hangar to check the engine...
