Re: Aircraft pricing, aging and useful life.
Cat that sounds great. To keep it closer to real market value the 10% could be changed to 6% to be closer extending useful life a little closer and keeping market values at around the same. A residual value could also be added so the price can't drop below 10% of the original value which would be cl...

Re: Aircraft pricing, aging and useful life.
Bulk order discount is a standard industry thing. I like that Joe having 100% for one but you can get more than 10% off if you place a serious order. This article talks about airlines getting upto 50% of list when they place orders. That seems a little extreme to me but I'm sure something could be w...

Re: Aircraft pricing, aging and useful life.
After digging into this further the big factors seem to be age, hours and status not so much cycles. To me depreciation and inflation of prices are two sides of the same coin. This wouldn't benefit any existing VA so much as it would realign VA value but would bring a level of realism. For us it wou...

Aircraft pricing, aging and useful life.
I've noticed some aircraft have gone up in price to keep in line with real world pricing. Would it be possible to be able to negotiate pricing on volume? In the real world if I order 1 737 it will cost list price or close but if I'm ordering 5 or 10 I'll get a much more favourable price. Have you al...

Re: Aircraft Search & Offer
I was thinking in the system. Yeah messaging the owner could be good instead of adding the offer option.

Aircraft Search & Offer
Two features I would like to see.
1. Search for aircraft by Registration number.
2. Be able to offer money for an aircraft.

Re: some thought about more realistic
I like the way you are thinking Cat, aircraft that are sitting a long time will need work to put them back in service. Maybe as simple as an Airworthiness check that increases in cost the longer the date between last flight and current date. If fees like that were in place to make it easier to sell ...

Re: some thought about more realistic
I haven't been on FS Airlines long and I don't belong to a long established VA. I am a part of one of those small 2 - 3 pilots VAs that have a large balance and a large fleet. Improving the UX for new pilots joining might help increase the size of the current Airlines and improve that hold on pilots...

Re: Experienced Pilot searching for a 747-8i Cockpit
Hi, if you are still looking for a VA. Invair can get you a 747-400 for EDDM or EDDF.
