Hi from me!

Hey guys at the sad loss of Thomas cook today. It made me think. I've ran a one man VA on here now for 13 years with 1 or 2 pilots that come by. I think unless i can get a few more members, I will disband flying colours and join a VA, if anyone also wants to help me run this VA i would be welcome to...

VA clean-up

Hi, I've noticed a lot of VA's are sat there inactive with no premium account holder. Would it be a good idea to say after one month of no activity the airline is considered disolved unless they specifically say why? I just think it would tidy up the whole system with only active VA's and routes the...

Hi all. Now these features are up. Flying colours is pleased to offer both. Hi guys I'm not sure if it's just me, But i cant get the latest update to show up as a plug in in my FS.

I tried everything to re installing deleting the old one to running FS as admin. Nothing. Now i have to run it as a separate program to get it to work!

Re: some thought about more realistic

Another thing I was thinking, Was about the amount of aircraft available to lease and trade. I would like to see maybe, Instead of getting millions per flight we do, perhaps thousands, to Encourage more leasings of aircraft and buying second hand. Also If a VA for example wants to buy aircraft of th...

Re: some thought about more realistic

I like these ideas. An insurance feature would also be a good idea, Where you pay a monthly fee. And (IF) your VA has a crash the insurance will pay the loss of aircraft and for a more comprehensive package even Keep your airline rating as it was. This is a good idea for pilots who join a VA and wel...

Re: Tecnical stop over (idea

Wondering if this idea has any consideration, I just did (enthusiastically) a flight from Vienna to Buenos Aires on the A330. I did make it, but i saved fuel by decending early at a low rate to cut engine power to eventually shutting the no1 engine off completly. I got a complete fuel loss about 4nm...

Re: Tecnical stop over (idea

yes it would be divert in a way. but not a divert. I mean look at emirates they do this as normal. or qantas. EGLL - OMDB YSSY. But rather than it being a divert it would be planned. I myself do enjoy long flights. But i normally add two sectors. But to have it as one would be awesome

Re: Tecnical stop over (idea

I think, what would work! If when you add a route you have the DEP: airport ARR: airport just an extra in the middle VIA: So normal routes would be for eg. DEP: EGGK VIA: ARR:LEAL whereas the long haul would be DEP: EGKK VIA: OMDB ARR:YSSY But allowed to add more fuel on the via. (what might also wo...
