Re: On-Time Rating
I'm wondering if the times that we input to the schedule have any bearing on whether a flight gets accepted by the system. Like, a short "reposition" flight that takes twice as long due to holding/delay vectors?

Stock Market?
Anybody ever think of trying to incorporate a stock market system, where we could buy stock in each others' (or our own) airline? It would be an interesting way to increase/decrease revenue and add a little to the competition.

What failures are simulated?
I was just wondering what kind of failures we could expect with the client, as well as how they are generated? Is it the same method FS Passengers uses (mx status (in %) * failure likelyhood) * hourly check)? As well, what type of failures does the client generate? Engine abnormalities before V1 (ta...

Like the ideas about gate rentals, seat configurations, etc... maybe the powers that be could work into the "pax loads" at each airport a portion which are business passengers, first class, etc...

MX bases...
A way for airlines to earn more money- build maintenance bases/hangars at different airports, catering to other aircraft (or their own). Plus, it really makes you put some thought into scheduling airplanes to be away from the base when maintenance comes due.

Re: Anatomy of a bug...
I turned off the flight tracker in the options, and did two really quick flights... it appears to have worked.

Reducing passenger/cargo loads to meet perf. needs
Would it be possible to reduce the load manually, even though we aren't at our aircraft's takeoff weight? Say you are departing from an airport such as LSGS (Sion) or LOWI (Innsbruck) that requires a special climb gradient, and you need to lower the total takeoff weight of the aircraft to meet 1st a...

Re: Anatomy of a bug...
Well, as expected, the PIREP wasn't accepted. It took me to the "upload flight report screen" Something with my system of doing things doesn't agree with fsairlines, and I can't see how the program can be so rigid that it is not accepting these reports. Here are a few screenshots... Parking brakes s...

So I'm currently online flying the EDDF-EDTF flight I had booked originally. I decided to check on the fsairlines.net page to see if the flight tracker was working. Apparently, when I looked at my profile, fleet page, and online flight tracker, the booked flight had cancelled itself, and the website...

Re: Anatomy of a bug...
I changed the aircraft.cfg file to reflect the appropriate type. You were correct in that it didn't have the ICAO code, but rather a long description. I just did a flight from EDDH-EDDF, and it worked well, was uploaded fine. I'm starting a second flight now (thank god for 4x sim rate) and we'll see...

Anatomy of a bug...
So I've been trying to investigate where I go wrong with these flights. So far, only about half of the flights I complete are successfully uploaded to the server and get counted for my company... The flights that don't work really don't lend much information as to why they failed. I get all the nece...
