Re: Unfairness in placing advertisements
The multiplier stays down? If that's true then a younger airline with 5 planes / 5 pilots will make more money than an older airline that has the same pilots / planes but once had a lot more? If that is the case, then yes I agree. Brian has an excellent point and something should be done about it. Dan

Re: Unfairness in placing advertisements
Sorry but to me this is a "economic" issue not a "fairness" one. Theoretically, if you have a small multiplier, then you should have a larger volume of income generating flights to compensate. Brian you don't have a large number of flights to count for your multiplier. Your multiplier comes from (as...

Thanks for the quick response.
Is there any way I can clean things up in the mean time?

Problems with the blackboard
Ever since the update, our blackboard has been responding very slowly. Sometimes I'll send a message and not even see it unitl I log out then back in again. I was wondering it that is because I can now see messages since we first started using it? I tried to delete at least my messages (being able t...

Re: Premium Accounts.
Not only that, but consider that VATSIM is hosted on donated servers and bandwidth (including ones donated by AVSIM) which specifically preclude VATSIM from being able to charge any form of membership fee. These servers are paid for by people whom run hosting services and thus have the means by whi...

Re: Premium Accounts.
My VA decided to take a “wait and see” attitude. Four flights per week seems awfully low. How much bandwidth does it take to upload what should be a small text file? For that matter I can’t believe that bandwidth is the real issue for wanting to charge. 1. I can fly on Vatsim and use a lot more band...

The new pilot also posted a question on this. Sorry about the double post.

Default Aircraft showing "Wrong Aircraft"
I have a new pilot who just joined FSAirlines. Everytime he sets up a flight, the client tells him it's the wrong aircraft. He's got version 3.93 of FSUIPC and the latest FSAirlines client.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
Dan
Oh, and he's using FS2004, thanks

Re: Engine Failure
I'm beginning to wonder if the problems I'm having are failures.
Three times now on two different aircraft, my left engine has shut off right after I get the "ping" sound that I've landed. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Engine Failure
I had an engine failure during my landing rollout today. Since I have failures turned off in Flight Simulator, I thought it was generated by the FSA client. However I don't see anything about it in the flight report. Do failures get reported anywhere and do we have to do any kind of maintenance as a...

Re: FS Airlines
I know it has been quite frustrating to not be able to start a flight when the servers are down but I do understand the "free time" part of the equation. Thanks for the hard work you put into it. What kind of expenses are we talking about here? Is it a one time deal or will it be an ongoing expense?...

Re: Can't upload saved report
Is there any update on this? I haven't seen any changes on the airline page yet.
I wasn't sure if I could do any flights while this is being resolved.
