Major update of our flight plans carried out on the 6th May - still retaining many routes not flown at the moment by the real-world Widerøe.
Any problems - message me.
Cheers

State of Play
Just to keep anyone interested up to date: The Virtual Widerøe VMS website is down, apparently site suspended. Therefore all activity is confined to the FSAirlines site. I have not been able to do much FS wise so Lars-Gunnar kindly took on the "Platinum Subscription" to keep the VA alive. He is join...

Re: delete inactive airlines
If I am paying my subscription I don't see why there should be any talk of deleting. The original idea of airline deletions were when it was all free. Now that we pay a subscription I don't think the airline should be deleted all all if there is a paid-up Platinum member and neither should platinum ...

Re: Site Crashes and Premium Accounts
I am pleased to see the feedback on the main site front page about the server upgrade and migration. Having been an electronics engineer since 1967, I don't think I need a lecture thanks edwinb77 and I certainly don't like the insulting way you refer to my post. There is nothing wrong with a custome...

Site Crashes and Premium Accounts
I am really disappointed at the current state of website crashes. May I suggest that FSA don't initiate any recurring subscription payments until they get this mess sorted out. I for one am very tempted to cancel my recurring payment due very shortly.

Re: New Penalty Idea
The only way I think this idea could be sensibly implemented, to take into account the various procedures, would be to have a time limit within a prescribed distance of the destination airfield. So a pilot must land within a certain time of coming within say 5nm of the airport for example, of course...

Is there any way to remove old blackboard entries or at least edit them?

Re: Multiple Views
Hi all I just bought a 23" LCD monitor. So, i have a 19" (the "old" one) and i have a 17" CRT. What i am trying to do is to have the 23" as my front view (primary) and the 19" as a side view i.e. hat up+right then use the 17" as an instrument panel etc. The 17" is not a hassle as i will connect to ...

Re: Aircraft Suggestions
Anyone have any links for quality freeware Q400 model downloads? I can't seem to find any :( Personally I use the freeware package from the Virtual Porter website - http://flyvporter.org/aircraft/PorterDash8-Q400.zip - it is the best package I have tried. It is based on the Dreamwings model so you ...

Re: Aircraft Suggestions
(The Dash8-100 series is no longer in production in the real world.) The Q400 is the only one still in production. the Q200 and 300 line was closed down in may after the last ones were delivered. Yeah, I saw that in the trade press but I see that the company website still lists the Q200 and Q300 as...

Re: Aircraft Suggestions
Yeah, I'm definitely looking at the Dash 8 family, however, would they be able to land and take off at some of the smaller airports? Some of the airports in New Zealand have rather small runways.. The 100/200 series is short-field certified, real-world Q200 performance at MTOW is 800m take-off run....
