Re: Max Take Off Weight to Max Ramp Weight //250kts Conc
Hello, As some people have stated, some larger aircraft, especially on departure, will have their 'clean' speed above 250 knots and it is not good practise to keep the flap in until passing FL100. In some places, ATC can and do lift the 250kt restriction under FL100, although again mainly during the...

Re: Here's a controversial idea regards simrate/stats
Hello, To stop people using x16 on short hops and also to keep things simple, why not have a system in place based on direct distance between the departure point and destination? For example: 0-499nm is restricted to x1. 500+ x2 1000+ x4 2000+ x8 and so on.. This would prevent people from doing shor...

Re: Max Take Off Weight to Max Ramp Weight //250kts Conc
That would be excellent Konny. I'm sure it would help people out with the larger aircraft and also with the odd ATC requirement.

Re: Number of false cheat reports is really getting old, fast
Hello Brian, can the flights be reviewed more carefully You are not the only one around here to get falsely marked as a cheater. Another pilot and myself did a flight to Malta and upon landing something must have gone wrong in the upload report process, giving us all sorts of weird figures on our fl...

Re: Tagged for overspeed at 10,500 ft.
Hi again James, That is probably why it happened. In order to fly Flight Levels you need to have 29.92 set. It could be that on your previous flights the pressure was not all that different from the ISA standard pressure setting, therefore the difference was not large enough to affect your flights. ...

Re: Tagged for overspeed at 10,500 ft.
Hello,
As John says, the 250kt limit is active from FL100 (with 1013 or 29.92 set), not altitude 10,000 feet (with local pressure set). Hope that helps!

Re: Spelling errors
Hello, This may relate to the old days when aircraft transfers were instant. I would imagine it is a simple job to change the wording though. I have noticed a few others as well here and there, but you can still understand what it says therefore it is not a problem a such. I can't quite remember whe...

Re: Pax seats number change - possible?
Hello, Just an idea that popped into my head. What if you could allow the users to change the number of seats on their aircraft in the aircraft information page, in the same way that we can change the aircraft registration? You could then just assign a certain range to each aircraft, for example on ...

Re: is it a bug?
Hello again, If his altimeter was set correctly to the weather... it shouldn't have been a problem becuase you would be showing more truer information on your instuments then had you been set at 29.92 The local pressure setting has no influence on flight levels as far as this issue is concerned. No ...

Re: is it a bug?
Hello, Based on the screenshot you have posted, the client 'pinged' you correctly. The 250kt speed limit applies from FL100, not Altitude 10,000 feet. As you already know, to fly at Flight Levels you need to set the standard 1013 or 29.92 pressure setting on your altimeters. You appear to have 30.53...

Re: Refuelling not working properly
Hello, Having just completed two flights in the A319 with another pilot (so four flights in total) we could not reproduce the problem. It is strange it has only happened the once on that LEAL - EGKK flight in the A320. I thought it might be isolated to the A320 but I had no trouble with the EGKK - L...

Re: Refuelling not working properly
Hello Konny,
Would you like me to email you that screenshot I took?
I'm about to make another flight or two with one of my other pilots so we will see if we get that problem again.
Regards,
James

Re: Refuelling not working properly
Hello, I have just experienced this. I have done three or four flights with the new client version now and this is the first time I have had it (or noticed it). Having just done a flight from LEAL - EGKK in one of our A320's (G-EJSA), the 'initial' fuel in the client displayed 979 kg, however the ai...

Re: On-Time Rating
Hello, I think it could be a good idea, my only concern is whether it would be difficult to implement on the programming side. Many VA's have flightplans which are utilised by multiple aircraft types with dissimilar speeds. Other VA's operate using virtual ATC organisations and wouldn't necessaily b...

Re: Missing New Applicant?
Hello,
I have had this before. I believe it is due to the applicant requesting to join the airline, then withdrawing his application before you next sign in, hence you get the message but nobody there to accept. I could be wrong though.
Regards,
James
