Re: Antonov 225 cheat flights

The AN225 needs to be 1.711 also. Thanks Stan, that is useful. :) Shame that some administrators would rather jump into criticism than read the question posed. As pointed out, in the thread linked to, and nowhere else in the forum, was there any information on this issue for the AN225. Is it not so...

Re: Premium Accounts.

Been away and only just up to speed on this topic. When the announcement about premium accounts was first posted we were told that they would be optional. With the current proposals it seems that single pilot operations will have only one option, make the regular payments or become inactive and then...

Re: Client and Squawk Box

Those menu tabs are disabled by the client to prevent various cheating methods being utilised whilst flying on FSAirlines.
I fly on VATSIM with the FSA client using the FSInn client instead of Squawkbox.

Re: Premium Accounts.

I stand corrected and thanks for clarifying, but a reply to my mail would only have taken a minute.

Valueless aircraft

Hi

I recently flew my Golden Eagle to Oxford.
For some reason this flight has reduced the value of the aircraft to 0v$, even though it is still at 98.7% status.

Any help appreciated

Re: Premium Accounts.

I asked by email over a week ago whether the proposed limits would be monthly or weekly, and if so by rolling 7-days, calender or some other criteria. The lack of any kind of reply suggests that the developers themselves have no clue yet how this should/could be implemented. ;) It is clear that the ...

Re: Hard Landings

I have been monitoring my landing rates to try to figure out why the client reports them wrong. Have noted: 1) The client shows an inflated vertical speed on those occasions where the ding-dong comes while the aircraft is still in the air (about 20% of the time) 2) The client shows a zero vertical s...

Re: New Penalty Idea

Remeber the radius we are talking about is only 3nm from the airports coodinates. Yes, but many procedures are based on a VOR or NDB which is actually located on the airfied (0nm from airport coordinates). You can be required to fly (or hold) here at over 10000ft AGL as noted above. Surely FSA does...

Re: New Penalty Idea

Reasonable, we can say there is no penalty if you are less than 5000ft AGL. Still not high enough. ;) Procedures at LOWI involve crossing the destination at 9500AMSL (which is 7600ft above threshold elevation) due to surrounding terrain. I am sure there are many other examples. Notwithstanding the ...

Re: New Penalty Idea

if you are within 3nm of your destination and your above 18,000ft MSL or above 1/2 your maximum altitude the client dings Same objection as above. Eg: I fly from EGGD to EGFF at 6000 (the SID limit), but must cross the NDB on the destination airfield at 4000 to fly the procedure for ILS12 (or 30). ...

Re: New Penalty Idea

It would also "catch" pilots flying a published procedure where the arrival level over the alpha beacon happens to be the same as cruise level (eg on a short flight).

If implemented maybe it should only apply above a certain FL?
