Just to follow up on this - having flown a few times in the RW recently. The taxi speed seemed to be higher than 20kts. I'm in favour of upping the limit to 30kts...

Hiya - I think it depends on the context.

If you want to say - AvantAir proudly uses FlyNet (or something like that) - then I'd say it would be acceptable.

Please post a link when you're testing the site and somebody will take a look.

I heard you can now buy hot tubs at the first class shop! Is this true?

Seriously, I think it's a good idea, provided that everyone is prepared to do the research to set up the database properly. It needs to be as automatic as possible, otherwise eejits like me will get it wrong.

I had the same problem initially, so I found an existing ad the size I wanted, copied it into my paint program, then pasted my ad into the space before saving it.

Then I uploaded the ad successfully.

If that doesn't work, let me know.

Airport search function

I know there's a workaround that lets you find an airport more quickly, but would it be difficult to have a simple search option, that lets you enter an airfield ICAO or name - then search the database for it?

Cheers,

Mike

(Just entered some unusual ones, BTW... wouldn't mind some approvals.) :)

There's one at the end of runway 15 in Khartoum... as well. Africa is full of them, apparently.

Here's a good site for US ones... http://www.johnweeks.com/boneyard/

Well, I'm sure the point has been made, so I'm going to lock this thread.

Anyone who wants to debate the virtues or otherwise of Nazism - well, there's probably a forum out there in the ether for you. Please don't do it here.

Believe it or not, there are FlyNET support people who police such things.

If somebody has named their airline NAZI air, or something equally odious, please drop me a line and I'll sort it out.

Cheers

Don't forget "Memphis Belle" - both versions.

Probably the later one was more accurate...

Bill,

I think the 'Vargas Girl' has been part of aviation art since WW2 and isn't actually offensive. No close up frontal nudity or photorealism and I think you'll be alright.

Cheers,

Mike
