Beechcraft Bonanza Update
Based on a request to update the stats for the Beechcraft Bonanza we have in the database, I noticed that since 2022 Beechcraft is selling models of the G36 Bonanza in the 'normal category' which has a higher MTOW that those built in the 'utility category' (3805 lbs. vs 3650 lbs. or 70kg more). Up u...

Re: Don't Auto-Submit upon a crash.
Adam I am not ignoring your suggestion but am giving time for others to comment. I have seen an small uptick of flights needing review because of crashes but has not been as much as I have expected. So far I have been surprised that we have not found any critical bugs in 2.6.0 so far and hopefully I...

Re: the Client v2.6.0 it is to be not working
I have installed Client v2.6.0 on my computer in the path C://Program files/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3dv4/modules. ... You don't need to install it in the p3d modules folder, the normal C:\Program Files (x86)\FSAirlines works well. The module version only works in FSX anyways. Make sure you have simco...

Re: Private aircraft maintenance
When we added the maintenance requirement for airlines, we did not add it for private aircraft. Too many pilots who had large private fleets complained.

Minimum prices for Maintenance centers
It has been proposed that we should set a minimum price for maintenance centers. There are a lot of VA's who build maintenance centers and set the current minimum price of 25% for both partners and other airlines. At that price they make no money, in addition it removes any incentive for others to b...

Re: Maintenance Center Profits
Regarding Maintenance Center Profits: Why do VA's keep giving away service to other airlines for free? By offering service to anyone and everyone at 25% they are making $0 money on the jobs. I mean I don't mind, as it gives me no incentive to build and maintain my own maintenance center in my littl...

Re: In Flight Failures
Just had my first in flight failure - flaps. And on long final coming into KLAS so just a matter of changing the vRef's for a flaps up landing and letting it roll out on the reversers until whoa'd up to normal braking speeds. The CRJ2 was coming here for an A check anyway (97.3%) so good timing. Ac...

Re: Advanced Finance
Is there any advantage at all to leasing gates at airports? I assume it is optional to simulate ongoing business expenses but was curious what incentive there would be in this world to lease a gate vs not leasing a gate. Also will the system know if we have more than one aircraft at the airport but...

Advanced Finance
There is a option in your airline settings to turn on or off 'Advanced Finance' this allows your VA to use several features on the platform including: To turn on Advanced Finance you must have a platinum account. To turn off Advanced Finance you must not be using one of the features that requires it...

Re: Can't Fill Plane??
I think the issue is that ENSB/Svalbard is a very small destination. Local population only 6.455 and looking at the AC you used in your EDDH to ENGM the A318 you used is configured for first class only, where you get only a small percentage of the available passengers.

Re: Leased Planes Seating
Another question on leases: Will they automatically renew or terminate? I've got a sweet deal on my 737-800 going and would like to keep it "forever". LOL I can lease this airplane for 8.6 years for the cost of one used one on the Trader List. No we don't have any auto renew features for leases, ma...

Re: Aircraft Transfers
Hi Sam, Yes after reading your posts I was thinking a 50% increase would be in order, moving it yourself should be cheaper than hiring someone to do it for your. I do admit that when I have moved aircraft myself I never thought about zeroing the passengers and cargo. I always just let the system do ...

Re: Aircraft Transfers
Hi Sam, Great work, very interesting. That the cost of your 12 stop route was only 20% more expensive than the ideal values is not too bad. I probably could build some factor in for number of stops required for shorter range aircraft but given how close it is it may not be needed. If someone really ...
