Re: PMDG 744 Pause P3DV4.5

You actually have to turn on 'disable auto save', its a little counter intuitive, I may change that at some point but for now its what you have to do.

Re: Wrong aircraft type

You can read this to help find out why: https://forum.fsairlines.net/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=9524 But as for how to fix it, since its X-Plane I am not completely sure, it probably involves using the X-Plane aircraft editor. If someone knows please post it back and I will be sure to put the explanation ...

Re: Airbus Corporate Jet (A319CJ) downsize?

Based on that chart, the kg/m3 is around 248.6. I came up with the 200 kg per m3 by analysing cargo aircraft and comparing there total volume to there max payload, maybe the below the floor cargo spaces can hold more weight on average. What does everyone thing, should we assume 250kg per m3 as the s...

Re: Aircraft Config

Well it will load more cargo, the system assumes that each passenger has 25kg of baggage that will go into the cargo hold. But passenger aircraft are limited by the volume of the cargo hold and if you say there are zero seats in the config it won't automatically increase it. For many aircraft there ...

Re: Client 3.4 ideas

I have been spending much of the weekend working on the client as 'the misses' was away. Working on a new 'Read Only' fueling method and a 'Deliver All' button to auto deliver packages if doing so was possible.

Re: Airbus Corporate Jet (A319CJ) downsize?

As for the ticket factors, not long ago I made a change so that aircraft could sometimes exchange economy seats with business and first class seats at less than the 2 or 4 to one ratio, when I did that I updated many of the aircraft to have lower ticket factors with better exchange factors for the s...

Re: Airbus Corporate Jet (A319CJ) downsize?

I recently went through all the airbus aircraft adjusting there cargo volumes, using the rule that in the absence of any exact number the cap is 200 kg per cubic meter, which is actually quite generous. I was reading about the A319-LR and A319-Cj that they get extra range by adding extra fuel tanks ...

Re: Empty weight changes

I don't have any current plans to add more tests to the client. We had said for some time that the client checked empty weight, max weights and number of engines but recently discovered the check of the empty weight was not working and fixed it.

Re: Flight out of range

We used to do that, but what would happen is pilots would end up flying routes that were twice the aircrafts range nonstop with sim models were the fuel flow scalars had either been manipulated or were not accurate in the first place. I have thought of adding this back when there are technical stops...

Re: Leasing Pvt Planes to VA

We have tried to prevent too much money flowing back and forth between pilots and airline, leases have been used as a way to loot money’s from one VA to another, doing it between pilot and VA would give too many opportunities for mischief.

Re: Owning Airports

I agree with Sam that Airports are typically government owned and would not want any VA cornering the market at a major airport. If we were it add gate fees then owning/renting gates would make sense. Maybe even having a terminal.

Re: Landing Fee's

We discussed landing fees when we did parking fees, and did not do them as they were would just add a per flight cost without changing things too much. Real life landing fees seam to be tied to airport size like landing fees are We could adjust up the ticket price formula by 10-20 % and then cadd a ...
